Real Life Story Book Novels & Stories

Hi Reader It's your Author Perpi Jimoh. Thanks for taking out time to read my book I really appreciate it. This writing journey had been a roller coaster of emotions and I still find it hard to grasp that this story has really ended. I started the story as a joke, literally to test my brain I should say. Something not serious as I was merely experimenting, trying to put all elements that I’m bad at in a story and I truly didn’t expect anyone to read this amateurish gibberish.

I started running off, making him chase me. Life might not always be smooth, but as long as I have love, my kids, and my family, everything else will fall into place. The love I once begged for, I now have in abundance. I think I should turn my life story into a book and name it: HIS MOST WANTED KARMA. "Gotcha! I love you so much, Daniella." He had so many kids' books there, very colourful and interesting stories. "Diary of a Hybrid girl, Tessa's mess, Traveling to New York, Tales of Patrick Hansel, and Happily ever after" I would say, over and over again. Those were my favorites and he never got tired of reading them to me. In the 'Happily ever after', there was the love story of man and a woman. The woman was already married , while the man was single and lonely. The woman was married but not happy, because the man she was married to, was much older than her and he treated her like a slave. The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Her eyes caught titles like; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and a lot more. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance. The book the lad was currently reading was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

Sadly it was hard to concentrate when I heard his deep voice again. "When I first touched a book, I was convinced that no one else in the world knew what I was going through. That for some odd reason I was the only one who had been subjected to a terrible childhood. A bit stupid- I know," he chuckled," but once I read certain stories, became acquainted with characters to the point I drew images of them in my head. I learnt that if anything I wasn't alone . . . somewhere out there, someone else can relate to me."

It was about a secret love between a poor boy from the streets and a girl from a rich family.

I draped her pancakes with honey and dropped it on the table right in front of her, serving it with a glass of milk, after which I went back to the kitchen and had mine with a cup of hot chocolate. No one was at the hospital when I got there, and luckily for me, I brought a book along, so I sat right beside the bed and started reading the book. The book was “ My Father's Wish” by Bellaboy, a touching story of how a young man, Hunter, was set up by his late father's will to marry his middle school bully, Hazel, just so that he; Hunter, could claim his inheritance.

"So?" "I wrote something for Emma. Not a letter—a story. About a little girl who taught people to choose love over fear, to forgive people who made mistakes because they were sick." She held up a little book. "It's called 'The Brave Dolphin and the Lost Whale.' If you think it's okay, would you give it to Emma as a gift?" I took the book, flipping through the pages of writing and drawings. The story was beautiful and matched Emma's level. It was about Emma's courage rather than Sophia's mistakes.

"You can't write the ending when you don't know how it ends. Now she knows enough of the story to share it." "Will there be a sequel?" someone else asked. I laughed. "There's always a sequel. The story doesn't end with me. It continues with all of them." I gestured to Hope. "With my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They're writing the sequel right now." During a signing in New York, a woman approached with tears streaming down her face. "Thank you," she said simply. "I was ready to give up on my abusive marriage. Your book showed me I could survive leaving. I left last week. Me and my two kids."

The timing was bittersweet - Claire watching her babies become more independent just as she was sharing the story of their early days with the world.
