The King walked back and forth, his mind running through so many things. He was planning to kill both of them but then he thought this would be so devastating. His esteem as a King would be humiliated between the other dragons of Thralia. He called upon his close friend Henry Dawn, who was the father of Raya Dawn, the future wife to Nathan Blackmark. "What happened, Edward? Are you ready to give your son to my daughter yet?" Henry laughed it off then looked at the fidgety on King's athletic face. "What is the matter, Edward?" he asked anxiously.

Kael didn't ask. He stood. Three steps brought him to the side of the bed. This close, I could smell him — iron and pine and something dangerous underneath, something that made the mark on my neck pulse once, hard. "You're mine now," he said. "No one touches you. No one speaks against you." His eyes held mine, dark and absolute. "Do you understand?" The words should have been a comfort. Coming from anyone else, they might have been. But this was the Reaper King, and I had watched him take a man's head off mid-sentence. The arm that had lifted me from the blood could just as easily put me back in it.

Some things were better off buried in the past. He continued the debate: "Maybe you don't want to accept my offer because of a new suitor." He paused to gauge my reaction. I gave none, so he contunied "I hear there is a new Alpha, after your heart, one of royal blood. Have you forgotten about David so quickly?" I frowned, at his comment. "Get to the point Andre. Why are you here?" My voice was tense "Where are you getting this information from anyway?"

Yeah she was seventeen and stubborn on so many levels but she also was a lot more mature than most girls her age. Raphael got up from his throne and cleared his throat to get everyone's attention in the room. The talking stopped at once and everyone’s attention was on him. He was almost as old as the King. He was around 930 years old and he was sired by the King. Raphael had wavy brown hair that was shoulder length. He had striking deep sea green eyes. Belle heard her little sister suck in her breath, she was studying him. Her sister talked to her through their mental link. "You can keep the King I will take him. He is built like a god."

I asked Elder Morgana. Damon interrupted her as she was about to speak. “Listen, everyone. I don't care who you are or what you are. I am the only one with the title of a king here. I am not just the alpha of a pack alone. I am the alpha king, and I demand total respect from all of you. It's one kingdom and I lead everyone!”

He looked… human. Almost fond.

He bowed and said "It's time." I nodded and he bowed before exiting the room, I stood up and button the jacket of my suit and then composed myself before leaving the room.
