Reaper I made good on my promise. I turned the entire southside into a slaughterhouse. For the first twenty-four hours, the Midnight Reapers moved like storms. We kicked in the doors of every known Skulls trap house, every front business, every warehouse by the docks. We broke bones, shattered teeth, and dragged their bleeding lieutenants into the mud.

The sound of crows as I stepped on the rugged road sent shivers to my spine, and the glowing eyes of predators in the dark watched me as I passed by. This place was next to hell, but I reminded myself all of these are just the façade of the lair. In the eyes of Reapers, this place was the same as how other sites in Heavenly Realm looked like—it was, as they claimed, to maintain the balance in Heavenly Realm. I jumped directly in front of the Reaper's room. Holding the two letters on my left hand as I knocked using the other. I struck three times, and no one opened the door. Another set of knocks, but no one dared to open.

The Reaper had found his forever. And together, they would face whatever the blood called for when the time came. The storm had new heirs. And the underworld would never be ready for them.

I howl. Alpha Mayhem and Ryan pull me off of Chaos. "Stop, he is dead," Alpha Mayhem says to me. I back down and stay close to my husband. I am breathing heavily and full of adrenaline. Something strange begins to happen. Chaos is dead, but something lingers around him. What is that? We can hear distant howling. What is that? I shake my head trying to get the howls out. "It is the reapers, they want his soul damned to hell," Ryan says.

Somehow, I know to avoid its touch. “Careful around reapers. They are souls sentenced to serve the coven by Death. Never interact with them and never touch them. Let them be.” Zane warns as I swallow hard. Great, so not only do I have to live in the creepiest mansion to ever exist in an alternate realm, but now I have to worry about these reaper things. For fucks sake, I better not be in some damn death trap. I move closer to Zane. “Zane, what is with this mansion, and why is it so big?” I inquire, trying to gain some understanding of the new home I find myself in.

The truth was, The Ghosts had a reputation in the city, one that left everyone afraid of them. This was enough for Josh to realize that they were trouble. Their presence alone had everyone on edge. Josh glanced at Mateo, who was already eyeing the newcomers with a look of pure irritation. “And this party just got less enjoyable,” Mateo muttered under his breath. However, Reaper heard him. His smirk vanished, replaced by a coldness. Looking at Antonio with a look of recognition, Reaper glared at him, saying,”You got a problem?” He asked taking a step over to where Mateo, Josh and Leo were standing.

Something that could never be hidden by the false soul. "Ughhh why me?" Ren grumbled as he woke up from "Slumber" land. Looking around the chamber, he could see a few other "dead" people around. Ambient resources floated around the room for the taking., "Tch, not letting this go to waste. Good old criss-cross applesauce sitting." Placing his hands on his thighs, Ren engaged the Reap System. 'Reap System, do your thing.' Reap System: Collecting Souls, Ion, and Languages. Back to calling me System again? Still mad about the last life-ending the way it did?

She had not dared herself to look at Shaine as Sheels backed out, telling her to stand beside her. It’s been over half an hour and the gloominess of the chamber was pressing in on her. There was no window and the deep-orange brick walls were painted with grotesque images that included people writhing in flames, people being tortured to insanity, and, most of all, the reaper with his scythe hanging right on his shoulder, his eyes hidden on his hood, though it felt so much like he’s really staring at her as though he’s not merely a lifeless painting.

Lucifer, your going to come up the middle with Hellraiser. Reaper and Bonez throw down the empty guns. "Set these bitches on fire." I say pointing to the SUVs. I cloak us all as we start setting fire to the SUVs parked around the clubhouse. Using their paranormal strength Reaper and Bonez push burning SUVs against all the exits. No one will get in and no one will get out. The horde is so caught up in the fight none of them realize their guns have been taken out. Their getaway cars are out of commission. And their exits have been blocked.

They all looked at me with a mix of fear and hope. "These are the survivors from other worlds," the Creator said. "The ones who were supposed to be deleted. I saved them. But we are trapped in this forest. The High Council has sent a reaper to find us." Suddenly, a loud, metallic horn sounded from the sky. The silver trees began to shake, their leaves falling like sharp knives. The peaceful blue light of the flowers turned a blood-red. "He is here," the Creator said, his face turning pale. "The First Reaper."
