He says it the way he says most things- informational, unbothered, like he's simply providing context he happened to have.

She says. “Hi.” Remy said in a small scared voice. “Hi Remy. It’s nice to meet you even under these circumstances.” I say standing up and walking over to him. I hold out my hand and he shakily puts his hand in mine and shakes it. “I’m Everleigh and this is Lord Carmykel, Luna’s Aria and Jazzlynn.” I say pointing to each one of them. “Nice to meet you all.” He says with a slight blush on his face.

I lowered my head and nearly finished my chamomile tea as I tried to suppress the tingling feeling in my nose. I used to think that Bridget cared about me. But ultimately, time revealed that it was nothing but just wishful thinking after all. "You should try this, Aiden. This is the restaurant's signature dish," a female colleague, Mandy Corelli, then said to me. Before I knew it, she had already passed the sharing platter down to me with a huge grin on her face. Keith cocked an eyebrow at her. "What are you doing? Trying to get cozy with the newbie just because he looks fine?"

I walked into the dining room, where Luna and Adelina were already seated. I took a seat next to Adelina, and we all began to eat. Adelina spoke up first, breaking the silence. "So, Luna, I want you to meet Remington. You can call him Uncle Remy, or Dad." Luna nodded, her eyes fixed on me as she continued eating. I smiled, "You can just call me Remy, it's fine by me. And I hope we get along, Luna." Luna chuckled softly, and I felt a spark of electricity run through my body.

They were friends. Remi rose and came over to where I stood. “It’s nice to finally meet you. Please, call me Remi.” We shook hands. He was friendly, warm and courteous. He was so different from Ben's brooding personality and that was a welcome change. I liked him right away. Ben poured himself a drink from the bottle of whiskey standing on his desk. He got up, picked up the glass, and went over to stand at the window, his hands in his pocket. He stared outside from the window, his back to us.

One seemed to be around ten while the other was half her age. "Hello." I said sweetly to them, giving them a small wave. They both looked at me bashfully, small smiles tugging at their lips. "Hi." The older one whispered. I stuck my hand out for them to shake. "I'm Vienna. What are your names?" The little one raised her head first, grabbing my hand. I smiled at the girls sticky hand. "I'm Remy." She said confidently. "Nice to meet you Remy." I smiled.
