Mate Rebound
Blood poured into the earth, yet the rogue barely seemed it feel it.
I felt a sudden form of rage. I stabbed and tore the rogue from him, throwing it into the rocks. Its body fell with a sickening crunch, but once more I saw the broken bones begin to gather back into place, limbs cracking around until it was standing once again. My wolf snarled at the sight of it.
“What the fuck are these things?” Doubtful, Caspian spat, shaking himself out once more.
I didn’t answer. My chest was heaving, and my claws were dripping red, but they still came, surrounding us in a circle with their glowing eyes.
