Long Chen entered upon hearing her screams. "What happened?" Long Chen asked confusedly. She stared at Long Chen in shock. "Aren't you dead." She asked quizzically Long Chen stared at her as if she had gone nuts. "If I'm back in 2019. That means I'm reincarnated. But how come that Chen is unable to remember? Isn't he dead." She thought, still staring at him.

“You want to feel in control? Fine. But don’t lie to yourself. You promised to make them pay. And now what because we had sex, you feel guilty? Don’t become the villain in your own story just to keep wearing a fake crown of morals. It doesn’t suit you.” I glared at him trying hard not to burst because this bastard doesn't even know me. What I had been through and the kind of life I had lived up until this moment. He would never understand. This wasn’t just about revenge. This was about who I was before George, and who I became after him. I had let a man define me once. I wouldn't let some man to define me again. Not this time. I straightened up. “You are right,” I said softly.

Her knee bounced, clearly showing her anxiety. She used to be so evil and wicked in my past life. I feared her and never wanted to cross her path, but looking at her now, I realized I was the one who gave her that power over me. And now that I have reclaimed that power, she looked more like a toothless tigress.

“I will find you.” I looked up at the moon, its light cutting through the clouds like a blade. “You hear me, Damon?” I whispered into the night. “You can take his body, hide him in shadows, drown the bond in your filth, but you can’t keep him from me. Not again.” Because if there was one thing Damon had forgotten, it was that I wasn’t the same woman he killed in the last life. I was reborn. And this time, I wasn’t his victim.
