I had four days left before the poison consumed my organs entirely. All I wanted was to spend whatever time I had left with the woman I loved, but I could not reach her. The next day, I learned that Enzo Marchetti, the first love she had never forgotten, had returned from overseas. "Let's get divorced. The love of my life is back." I clutched my chest as a searing pain tore through it. "I'm at the family hospital. I've been poisoned. The doctors won't let me leave.” Her voice turned sharp and cruel. "I don't care if you're poisoned or dying. Even if you drop dead the next second, you need to come back and sign the papers." The last trace of warmth inside me went cold. I answered calmly,

Lucien and Aiyanna saw it as well and Lucien said, “a grave?” “A grave with a protective barrier… and this grave is…looks like it’s guarding something.” Aiyanna said as she walked towards the grave, it was white and was covered in dust, “it’s unnamed.” She said as she touched the grave and observed it. Jayden said, “can you talk to the spirit of this grave?” Aiyanna said, “let me try.” She said as she closed her eyes and chanted, and after sometime she suddenly opened her eyes and gasped, her eyes were wide and she looked shocked, “the name of the person is Vivian Sinclair"

At 3:00 AM, the biting cold wind howled through the mountain fields, where countless unmarked graves lay scattered across the land. Eloise shivered, her voice trembling with unease. "Couldn't we have done this tomorrow? Why did it have to be tonight? Don't you find this place scary?" Gavin's tone remained flat, his voice cutting through the cold night air. "Isn't there a hotel or inn near the gravesite?" Eloise scoffed, "Look around. We're in the middle of nowhere. Do you really think there's anything out here?"

“Running around graveyards?” The man looked confused. “I like to take walks, sure, but I’ll just go around parks at most. I’ve never been to a graveyard before!” “Us elderly people are most afraid of that!” Harvey couldn’t wrap his head around the situation. ‘He’s never been to a graveyard?’ “Did you pick up money on the road with a note inside, saying that a few years of your lifespan is being borrowed, or something of the sort?”

I guess she was buried in some secluded place on purpose so people won’t come near her grave and just let her rest. We stopped in front of a cemetery. The place looks old and haunted. I mean it. The statues are half-broken, some don’t have hands and some lose their head. I could feel some sort of tightness in my chest. I just hope my panic attacks don’t relapse the moment I see her. We then get out of the car to walk to her grave.

My eyes fall to the graves, all in line, all open, all carrying a different casket with a different person but the feeling is the same for all of them. They were not good people, not worthy of love but their death still saddens me. Ryker takes a step forward and urges me to follow him. We both approach the first grave, Britney’s grave. He bends down and grabs a fistful of sand before dropping it over the half-sand-covered casket. He straightens to his height afterward and looks at me, waiting for me to do the same.
