“So,” Reina begins slowly, stirring sugar into his coffee, “it seems my son was very busy before his death.”
My father nods in acknowledgment. “He was indeed. The question is, how much is the information he gathered worth to you, in exchange for our silence?”
“What information, exactly, do you have?” Don Reina asks cautiously.
I smile slightly. I could play coy, but that would be a waste of time—and I’d rather spend my time with my wife. If I get home early enough, I might convince the masseuse to trade places and fuck Quinn unconscious on the massage table.
