“Aim for functional,” I interrupt, cutting him off without malice, simply a statement of fact. “And comfortable.”
He clears his throat, adjusts his glasses, and nods. “Of course, Mr. Lombardi. Functional. Comfortable. Allow me to retrieve a selection that aligns more closely with your… preference.” He glides away.
