Godfather World

Godfather World

Out of guilt, Damian and Remi offered their loot to Zen to compensate for the near accidental team kill. “We’re sorry,” Remi apologised after regrouping with Zen, who was resting to recover his mana. “I didn’t think the law of physics would apply in a game.” Unable to remain too mad at them, Zen sighed and accepted the new crafting materials. He could do a lot with Minotaur horns and hide. “We’ll wait for me to recover enough mana and heal everyone before moving to the next stage,” he announced. “We’ll log out for lunch after checking out floor eleven.”

Begin Again

Begin Again

She quickly counted them, making sure Clara or HR hadn't missed any when they typed up the new agreement. One. Two. Three. Four. Five! Five zeros! Five freaking zeros. She wondered about the extent of Liam's problem. It must be severe for him to have agreed to such a ridiculous amount, and for a brief second, she felt like the worst person on earth for exploiting a sick man. But any guilt she may have felt was gone when she remembered the way he'd lashed out at her. After the way he treated her, she deserved every one of those goddamn zeros, Eden thought as she slowly cruised home, content with the world and life again.

Almost one of the best. Hence, totally agreed to one of the reviewers chapters leading to the end of the novel less interesting perhaps too much effort in making some catastrophe to the story to put some twist. could have made more effort in making the end not to subtle or too obvious.

Val Sims is one of my favorites. Begin Again is the first of her novels that I read and I loved it so much, I had to read all her other works and I love them also. I hope she continues to write because she tells a good story and her characters are believable.

Under the Blue Moon

Under the Blue Moon

I said to him. Rem gave me a cautious look, then sighed. “I trust you, Zach. Even if that sounds really ominous right now,” he mumbled. He turned his head to place a kiss on my hand and then closed his eyes. “Do you think we’ll be able to stop this war?” He then asked.

Now that is locked ahead, it's way easier to decide to read this story or not. A strange group of younger kids appeared that doesn't seem werewolf! Now that's more like it! Mystery, tension, questions! I wonder if they are friends or enemies... and what about the hunters? Where are they...

Divorced by the Billionaire, Pregnant with His Heir

The name struck him harder than any weapon. “Don't call me that.” “Why?” “Because I don't know if it's mine.” “Then we'll find out together.” Subject One looked away. “After Lucas.” “After Lucas.” A violent pulse shook the Ark. Jonathan shouted from the control platform. “Five percent!” The hologram flashed. MOTHER ZERO TRANSFER: 5% Architect Zero moved toward the controls. “How fast?” Jonathan scanned the data. “It isn't linear.” “What does that mean?”

Resetting My Life from His Zero‑Love Game

Resetting My Life from His Zero‑Love Game

"If I die, don't hold a funeral for me. Cremate me and scatter my ashes into the sea. I want… to be free to go anywhere I want." Blake's voice shook. "Anna…" "Promise me." "…I promise." I laughed. "Thank you." The countdown hit zero. In my head, the system notification sounded. "Strategy failed. Erasure protocol initiated." I closed my eyes and waited for the end. But then… nothing happened. I opened my eyes again and stared out at the sea. Out on the water, the sun was slowly rising over the horizon. Golden light spilled across the surface of the sea, so beautiful that it stole my breath.

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Only the silence of a thousand hearts that didn't beat. "My name is **Unit R-01**," the double said. "But for the sake of the ledger, you may call me **Remnant**. And I am here to facilitate the transition of the remaining organic matter into the Archive." "Organic matter?" I spat, stepping up beside the real Rowan. I was trembling, the weight of the "Reboot" still making my head swim. I felt frail, stripped of the violet fire that had defined me for so long. "You’re talking about people. Families. Pups who have just seen the sun for the first time."

The Reset

The Reset

It’s nearly 11:00 PM on the night of Day 6. "It doesn't all come back at once," he explains, his voice heavy with the weight of the secret. "Every time this happens, the brain rebuilds itself in stages. You won't fully remember the last seven years until midnight on the seventh day. It’s like your mind has to be sure you can handle the pain of the accidents before it gives you back the joy of the marriage." "Midnight tomorrow," I whisper. "Midnight tomorrow," he repeats. "The reset officially ends. You'll be twenty-five again. You’ll know my name, you’ll know our house, and you’ll remember why we decided to keep fighting."

Year-End Bonus: Three Zoo Passes, One Phone Call, Zero Mercy

On the other end of the line, Mr. Timothy Skylar was clearly displeased. "You're saying there are problems with the schedule? That's not something to joke about, Ms. Johnson. My entire follow-up timeline depends on this project!" I replied calmly, "I'm not joking. Clear contract terms are the foundation of any partnership. How about this—I'll put together a detailed explanation tomorrow, and we can set up a time to talk through it." As soon as the call ended, my phone rang almost immediately. It was my boss, William Lewis.

his shoulder, turning his obsidian skin into a flat, grey texture. "I can't feel my arm!" Zane roared, his voice losing its bass. "It’s like it’s been turned into a 2D drawing!" The Rendering Play "We can't fight them with speed!" Elara realized, dodging a wave of static. "We have to fight them with Resolution! Rhys, Julian—give me a 'High-Def Burst'!" Elara signaled for the Rendering Play. It was a tactic they had brainstormed during the journey to the Rim—a way to project their "Detail" onto the environment to force the universe to "Render" the area around them.

His Mask, My Sin

His Mask, My Sin

“That is somehow ruder than addiction.” We proceed to controlled recontact. Short duration only. Ten seconds each. Matteo refuses to go first. Predictable. Ezra steps forward. The point brightens and offers measured breath cadence. He disengages after ten seconds. No visible reaction. But his shoulders reset microscopically. A sign only careful observation catches. Then me. The point broadens space pulses that reduce cognitive compression. Useful. Efficient. Dangerous. I disengage. Then Matteo. The point gives him a soft heart rhythm echo.
