Get myself right to the brink while you watch?” I nodded quickly. “Yes, I love when you get desperate.” Richie let out a rough breath. “You are going to kill me, baby. In the best way.” He worked himself faster for a few strokes, then slowed again, teasing the head just how I liked. His breathing grew heavier. “I have thought about this. Wondering what the girl behind the username looked like when she came. Now I get to find out. But not yet. Tell me another request. What do you want to see me do with my other hand?”

Patrick assured her, but I could tell he doubted Richie himself. We had been expecting him to show up, but beyond that, we didn't know what else to expect from him. Richie was one of the most unpredictable men I had ever met. Whenever I met him, my senses were always on overdrive, analysing everything about him to predict what he would do next. I had seen him rip off an Alpha's throat at a diplomatic meeting over a simple disagreement. It was one of the incidents that had people calling him the Mad Alpha, but I didn't care much about him in the past because we avoided him like the plague.

Harley and Vivian handed over the briefcase, and Ricardo opened it carefully, his eyes widening as he saw the stacks of cash inside, "Excellent work," said Ricardo, a glint of admiration in his eyes. "I knew I could count on you two, even in the most challenging of circumstances. You'll be hearing from me again soon" Ricardo said, Harley and Vivian nodded in acknowledgment before making their way outside, once they were far enough from the mansion, they breathed a sigh of relief, The danger of working with mafia kingpins was never lost on them, but the rewards were always worth the risks,

"It would be awfully risky to kidnap his wife. There are so many things that could go wrong. But if we want to make Rick to accede to my wishes, it might be the only way. Roy, do you have a plan in mind to carry this out? There can be no surprises along the way. This would be a criminal offence if we are seen to be behind such an act." Roy brightened at his mother's apparent approval of his suggestion. He replied. "I will contact a few underworld bosses that I have heard of in Fing City and here in Tang and see what it would take to achieve our goals. And to see what the cost would be. I am sure that if we handle this right, there should be no problems. If this works, we may be able to strip

Madame Richie just got lucky. She inhaled, and smoke whispered from her lips with the words. “That is the deal. Take it or leave it.” I wanted closure fromthis visit. I wanted to leave without her laughter over my head. “I suggest you take it,” she said. “I do think I see great things in your future.” Madame Richie was dangling a carrot on a string. Or rather, a piece of dog poop. But I guessed I was in such an awkward place in my life, I was interested to hear what generic foretelling she would come up with.

If they were all in the sitting room, he would be walking up and down at the back of the sofa; it brought a smile to her face; they would need new carpets after the trench he would have walked into it. Richie would be sitting perfectly still, almost statue-like. He was the complete opposite of Jasper, and he certainly had more of a business head on that was for sure. Very controlled was Richie. Not madly creative like Jasper. She wondered if Richie had thought about telling Kylie about Richella. Maybe that was all under wraps for the moment, though she was sure that eventually, it was all going to come out. She hoped Kylie understood.

Richie’s voice was calm but firm, making Alex stop in his tracks. Alex turned, wiping the sweat from his brow. His hands were still shaking from the emotional storm that had just hit him. “What now?” Alex asked, his voice barely steady. Richie took his time, walking slowly toward him, his presence giving the boss energy. “There’s something I think you should know,” Richie said, his tone laced with both amusement and something darker. Alex narrowed his eyes. “I don’t think I can take any more of this,” he muttered under his breath.

“You brought a game? Of course you did.” Rich waves a hand, ignoring me as he starts dealing cards. “This isn’t just any game. It’s a masterpiece. A work of art. It’s... Rich’s Rules.” He beams as if he’s just announced the invention of the wheel. “You draw a card, you follow the instructions. Could be a question, could be a dare, could be a shot.” Dante leans back, smirking. “How bad are we talking?”

The man was just enjoying himself. "He is a very dangerous person. I believe he is not only connected with me but also with others. He said he doesn't only know me in Golden Circle, but I swear to you, I don’t know who else he is in touch with. How he is connected or how... he is a cunning man." Richo occasionally grimaced, speaking with a weak tone as the pain in his body grew worse.

My eyes meet hers and she looks down. “You knew this?”, I ask and she nods her head. “Don’t blame her, this was all me”, Richie says and I look at him “He said that he could keep my mum and sister comfortable for a few months, he was going to give me one hundred thousand to break you and Henry, I knew about the bet as it was made with me and Alex, and I needed the money, I am so sorry”, Richie says and I nod my head slightly. “But why are you working like a slave if he gave you all that money?”, I ask and Richie’s eyes meet mine.
