Resurgence

Resurgence

Eleanor Callista Castellanos. Tears keep falling from my eyes, as I watch them together, on the TV. Eleanor gently whispered against Hestia's ear, Hestia chuckled not breaking her composure, then gently pinches Eleanor's nose. The pain in my heart intensified and I can't stop my tears from falling from my eyes. Out of frustration and pain, I hardly throw the remote into the TV, cracking the screen. I stood up, grabbed the TV off the wall, and I immediately smash it down to the ground. I started furiously stomping onto the broken TV on the ground, trying to release my anger and frustration.

Reborn to Rise

Reborn to Rise

Everyone turned against me. Isabelle, the leader of the demon hunters, called me in. She said she wanted to protect me, but even she couldn't guarantee her own safety. I looked up at her without fear and met her eyes straight on. "Once, werewolves and vampires oppressed us, so humans fought back. Now, men are oppressing us. Why don't you fight back too? Do you really think that if you give me up today, they'll just let it go?" I laughed coldly. "No, they won't. They'll only take more and more, eating away at the space women have to live. From that point of view, men are no different from werewolves or vampires."

Rise of the Phoenix

Rise of the Phoenix

It has to be a human with these attributes because, while I always rise again, my humans do not. Over time, I’ve realized that when I’m called, there is always a human who stands out to me, one who calls to me in some way or another. This time, when I felt the call to rise, it was Emmi who called to me. She was an orphan, someone who never had a family, but who always stood up for the underdog. She was the one who would walk through the forest and help the creatures who were injured or trapped. They responded to her, as they would have to me, with trust and affection.

Cooper truly never misses. Each story genuinely is better than the last, with each story truly being amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed reading Emmi & Ajax’s story and the creativity/thoughtfulness that went into writing it. So excited for Kenna/Yhens story, finally! As always, amazing job, author! :)

I loved every single book till now. I love how you include everyone in the story. it gives the scenes a bit of everyone's perspective but the main characters are always clear. Please let us know when taming the fire dragon comes out. it's already mid August......

Ruined

Ruined

"Who wants a raise?" All of them lifted their arms. "Great. Whoever burns him alive will get a raise." The raised arms of officers fell beside their sides in shock. But, Theodore had calmly turned back around, had entered his car and had turned on the engine. His car drifted smoothly as he reversed it, turned it around and drove it past the stunned officers who had no option but to salute his highness as his car went past them. The lesson of today's barbarism was clear in the air. No one touches his girl and gets away with that. ***

Before I write my review, I must say this, this book needs A MAJOR EDIT!! With so many grammatical and punctuation errors I struggled to get through it!! Having to read and reread sentences and paragraphs is really exhausting!!Other than that it was a good read with a good plot.

Reborn to Ruin Him

Reborn to Ruin Him

“Sofia mentioned they’ve actually become close these past couple weeks. Never would have predicted that outcome.” “Grief does strange things to people,” I said, echoing words Ashford had said weeks ago. “Sometimes it breaks them. Sometimes it teaches them how to actually be decent, finally, once they run out of reasons not to be.” We spent the rest of the morning simply existing, walking through the city without urgency, without fear, Xavier’s hand woven through mine the entire time. It was strange, how ordinary happiness felt after so many weeks of nothing but survival, how it took real effort to let myself simply enjoy a quiet moment instead of scanning it for hidden danger.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Aspen was someone who inspired genuine fear in Ruby—a rare feeling for someone as cunning and shameless as herself. Still, Ruby reassured herself that risk was part of the game, and the rewards would be worth it. She imagined the destruction of the Rhodes family, watching Lauren lose her status and become a disgraced, humiliated outcast. When it was all over, Ruby planned to disappear with her profits, starting fresh in another city, free from the chains of her past. Meanwhile, Troy, already drenched in sweat and panting like a dying beast, lasted no more than two minutes. His red face contorted in a mix of pain and ecstasy as he collapsed, utterly spent.

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Now, The Alpha Wants Me Back

Now, The Alpha Wants Me Back

Right when we were about to walk away and give up hope completely, a faint cough emanated from somewhere buried underneath the pile. "Wait!" I shouted at once; my acutened ears had caught the noise. "I heard something! Someone is alive down there!" All ears were suddenly pricked up, everyone holding his breath. A second cough, stronger this time and from deeper within the debris pile at the heart of blast zone. We clawed at the rubble, hurling chunks of stone and twisted metal away with reckless speed. At my new-found strength, I hauled aside chunks of which, only days before, would have been immovable rubble.
