The Beta's Mate

The Beta's Mate

I promised Rick I would return, and I will. Without another thought, I shift my hand into my wolf claw. I briefly release the invisible shield so I can leap up and slice Daniel down from the rafters. His body slumps down and he screams in pain. Without hesitation I quickly put my shield back up wrapping my arms around Daniel. I start to shift us out of the room when I hear gun shots ringing out within the room. I can see a bullet coming at me as if slow motion aimed directly at my heart. Before I know what is happening, Daniel threw his body in front of mine just as a bullet was about to hit me.

Guys! Read this story!!! All of Ellie’s stories are amazing! They pull you in, they’re well written and they have characters that you both love and love to hate. You can’t go wrong with this story, or any of them really!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I’ve read 5 other books by this author and this is my favorite. Her writing pulls you in. The characters will frustrate you, make you laugh and cry. The plot is full of surprises and suspense, redemption and healing. Highly recommend. Read Healing Powers first.

Claimed by My Bully Alpha

Claimed by My Bully Alpha

“It’s going to work, Aurora. And I can help. I know you’re scared. But right now, we need to act fast.” The words felt like they didn’t quite make sense, but the trust in her eyes—the certainty—told me everything I needed to know. I could feel the tension in the air, the weight of the moment pressing down on all of us. We didn’t have time to question it. Not anymore. Caleb glanced at Alpha Camden, who nodded solemnly. Ashton looked between us, his expression a mixture of wariness and hope. Then all of their eyes turned back to Caroline. “Aurora’s right,” Caleb said, his voice low. “We need one more person to make the shield work. Caroline, if you’re sure—”

The Grumpy Alpha and His Chubby Mate

The Grumpy Alpha and His Chubby Mate

I say, my anger finally rising up, "I hope the Moon Goddess punishes that asshole for the rest of his natural life." I shift my heavy weight, swinging my legs over the edge so my bare feet touch the warm stone floor. I pull the pelt blanket tight against my chest like a shield. "Other than my best friend, no wolf has ever gone to war for me like this. It means so much to me, Theo." My voice breaks a little, and a hot tear slips down my cheek. "Since the day I met her, she has been my true shield-sister." "Since I live right here in the metropolis and I am not carrying triplets across the sea," Theo says, tapping his completely flat, hard stomach, "let me be your warrior shield."

Luna At Alpha Academy

Luna At Alpha Academy

His eyes are hollow with fatigue, yet still burning with loyalty. I swallow hard. My throat feels like sandpaper. “…I’m sorry. This one’s mine.” Before they can protest, I thrust my will outward. The shield hurls them away—launched like arrows to safer ground. The instant they’re gone, the heat slams into me. My skin sears, the tips of my hair curl and crisp, and agony rips a scream from my throat. I almost collapse right there—then, instinctively, the shield snaps back around me, thin and fragile.

From His Shield to His Nightmare

From His Shield to His Nightmare

My question shattered the false peace in the dining hall. Everyone stared at me in shock, especially my parents. They didn't know the whole truth of why I’d left. Cedric sat frozen, his lips parted, but no words came out. "You don't remember? It's fine. I remember for you." I took a deep breath, like I was stepping up to a witness stand, and began to list his crimes. "In the Gloomwood, when the shadow hounds attacked, you used me as her human shield. You let their claws tear my back to shreds."

Rejected Luna : Alpha's Promise, King's Claim

Rejected Luna : Alpha's Promise, King's Claim

I raise my forearm to block it, the collision sending a small shock up my arm. I respond by shifting my weight back and lifting my arm to create a barrier with my power. A faint shimmer forms around my skin as he tries to push through. His hand meets the invisible shield and stops just before it touches me. The resistance wavers but holds. Rowan steps back, assessing me, then lunges again. I bend my knees and drop low, letting his next strike swipe through the air above my head. Before I can counter, he spins behind me. I pivot fast and lift both hands, forming another shield before he can grab me. His fingers collide with the energy barrier, and this time it feels stronger, like it grows sh

The Alpha Can't Sense His Mate!

The Alpha Can't Sense His Mate!

She called in a loud voice, and suddenly, a wind blew around us and the dust rose to the air. I watched in shock as the dust formed living bodies in their thousands - more than I have ever seen. “Kill him!” She ordered and some of the rogue wolves headed for Zadok who was lying on the floor, a few inches from the circle, weak and clutching his heart with bloodshot eyes. “No!” I screamed with power and a protective shield formed Zadok. Shilhi turned furious. With one glance, the shield shattered, leaving Zadok open to harm. “Leave him alone!” I screamed, a bright light shot out of me and the rogues around him fell to the ground, reducing to a pile of dust.

I broke his nose. Evil Spawn took a step back and now she’s free. She ran out of the room and head straight to the faculty room. She’s safe now. She put a hand on her forehead and frowned. She doesn’t even feel any sign of collision. She cleared her throat and flashed the memory of the head butt in her head. She leaned her head against the wall. There it was again. The shield. She felt an ounce of pride swell from inside her. The shield is hers. It was like some kind of force granted her deepest desire. To stay safe and to keep everything she treasures safe.

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

Within the abyss of my mind, everything melted into tranquillity. Opening my eyes, I met a world transformed. The din of war had subsided, and silence reigned. Victor’s voice called to me, filled with wonder. I turned to find everyone gazing at me, awe etched upon their faces. Before me shimmered the shield, a barrier of light flowing with resilience and grace, as I reached out, its surface welcomed my touch, a tangible connection to a dreamlike reality. My gaze stretched across the landscape, where the shield cradled our city, offering respite and protection.

I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.

Queen of Supernatural

Queen of Supernatural

She gasped for air, clutching the glowing jewel, her skin burning where it touched. Damian planted himself between her and the shadow’s looming form. “She’s not yours. Not now, not ever!” He lifted his shield, the runes along its edge igniting with golden light. The next lash of shadow struck it full-force, exploding in sparks of violet and white. The impact nearly tore him from his feet, but he stood, bracing with everything he had.
