Behind her, I notice the television flash a photo of me with a red banner saying ‘Endangered Minor’. A picture of my motorcycle pops up in the lower corner of the screen. I swallow hard and look back at her. I have to distract her until the screen changes.

“Where’s she?” “Oh.” Vixen’s face lit up. “About five years ago, she met an amazing woman named Rachel, and they moved to Seattle and got married. They board and train dogs, and they’re deliriously happy with it all.” “You guys still close?” Ice poured her a bit more wine, gestured at her neck. “Does she know about what happened to you?” “Yes and yes.” Vixen stretched her legs towards the fire, loving the crackling sounds, the dancing orange flames. “She wanted to fly out right away, but I don’t want her around this mess.”

" Ruby blinked at him innocently as she nodded her head in affirmation. As they were about to leave, I held back my pain to hit my head desperately against the table corner and was finally able to create some noise. Connor looked over at me. I was close to dying. Ruby stood in front of Connor coyly, and her cherry lips pouted. "She's the vixen who wanted to seduce you. You shouldn't even be looking at her. It would only disgust you." When Connor saw my disheveled clothes, he raised his hand to wave the bodyguards in with repulsion. "Get rid of anyone unimportant."

The girls were all in Vixen's room getting ready. "Hot damn ladies. We look fucking hot as hell! Bitches will all be jealous when we enter! Watch your six!" Vixen warned.
