A few minutes of silence passed and I felt myself feeling better but the minute till I heard my phone beep with a notification. Sighing, I popped my eyes open and picked up my phone from the desk. From the notification bar I saw it was an email from Sanders. Finally, with anticipation fresh adrenaline pumped into my body and I opened the P*F file document he sent me. So, apparently Jake Blake did grow up in the same small town as River and Tessa. They attended the same school and he was the town sweetheart, basically a jock. I stared around the streets of Riverdale. The streets were lined with towering Sycamore trees. The buildings along Sycamore streets were pre-historic stone houses and elegant pre-war buildings. My mind was so occupied with what I wanted to do with that man when I saw him that I couldn’t admire the beauty of the town. The way I wanted to tie him up and beat him so hard till his face was just a bloody pulp. Anger tightened every muscle of my body, stirring a wicked heat in me.

Riverdale was more of a retiree home for the elderly who have worked their life off somewhere in the big cities and now seek rest. And that's where I grew up. And inevitably where I was going back to. Riverdale isn't all bad, the scenery here is beautiful and environment was nontoxic. I consoled with the thought that I needed someplace without the hustle and bustle of the city to keep me sane.

She is something special. Turns out River was a rebel, loved speed, and sports. She is a hard core Texan fan and loves watching the Houston Rockets, never missing a game. Apparently, she played basketball since middle school, as a point guard, and was good at it. What surprised me the most was when she spoke about River and her bike. She told me how she traded her old bike for a faster one that she got at the age of 16. River loves her bike so much that she named her Raven because she is matte black. Well, no wonder she gave me that name. She also told me that where she is from they’re big on riding dirt bikes and off-road vehicles called buggies.
