Luca’s POV The forest swallowed us whole, branches whipping my naked skin as Rocco barreled through the underbrush, my body slung over his shoulder like a trophy from war. Gunfire crackled behind us—the compound erupting in flames, Viktor’s Bratva clashing with Sal’s Morettis in a final frenzy. Dante’s roar echoed distantly, a desperate hunt through the chaos. The toxin in my veins simmered low, a constant hum of weakness, but Rocco’s grip was iron—his blood from Dante’s graze soaking my side, mixing with the drying remnants of Viktor’s claim.

(Brielle’s POV) “I thought they could not read our minds?” Bryce asked, followed by his surprised gasp. Lucilla smirked. “Idiot! I don’t need to read her mind to know what she’s thinking.” She rolled her eyes and continued to climb the stairs. Bryce opened his mouth to retaliate, but Xian grabbed his arm, taking his attention. “I need your blood, hunter,” she smiled and blinked her eyes adorably. When he didn’t move, she sneered. “You need me to check if your blood’s healthy or…”

I try to show all this in my story, because life is like this, sometimes happy, sometimes scary, sometimes painful, sometimes very sweet. Ria is my heart in this story. She is strong, but also scared, she cry, she scream, she fight, she love. I put myself a little in her, maybe I cry when I write her fear, I laugh when I write her happy. I want readers to feel her, to live with her. Luca is my dream man, I think. He is strong, very smart, protective, passionate. He love Ria so much, he risk everything for her. I think all women maybe want someone like Luca, but also all men maybe want someone like Ria, someone they cannot forget, someone worth fighting for.

I pushed open the door and found Lia Rossi, my sister, straddling Luca Corleone, my fiance. She was naked, her long blonde hair clinging to her damp back, and her legs were spread wide as she straddled Luca's waist. Luca, leaning against the leather couch with his shirt undone and his chiseled chest exposed, gripped Lia's waist with both hands and thrust upward in a steady rhythm. "Go faster, Luca!" Lia moaned loudly, her breasts jolting hard with each thrust.

"I always knew you had more courage than you let on, Lily Blackwood," he remarked, his tone dripping with disdain. "But if you slit his throat, I'll make sure one of my men puts a bullet in Lucas. I would have loved to kill you too, but our boss' orders were to bring you to him alive."
