Gunfire crackled behind us—the compound erupting in flames, Viktor’s Bratva clashing with Sal’s Morettis in a final frenzy. Dante’s roar echoed distantly, a desperate hunt through the chaos. The toxin in my veins simmered low, a constant hum of weakness, but Rocco’s grip was iron—his blood from Dante’s graze soaking my side, mixing with the drying remnants of Viktor’s claim.

I try to show all this in my story, because life is like this, sometimes happy, sometimes scary, sometimes painful, sometimes very sweet. Ria is my heart in this story. She is strong, but also scared, she cry, she scream, she fight, she love. I put myself a little in her, maybe I cry when I write her fear, I laugh when I write her happy. I want readers to feel her, to live with her. Luca is my dream man, I think. He is strong, very smart, protective, passionate. He love Ria so much, he risk everything for her. I think all women maybe want someone like Luca, but also all men maybe want someone like Ria, someone they cannot forget, someone worth fighting for.
