Romance Novels With Humor Novels & Stories

Alexander gasped, his eyes widening at the book. I laughed hard at his expression. He looked so shocked. How cute. "Why is there so much going on?" Alexander asked another stunned expression appearing on his face. "It's amazing, right?" I chuckled, my eyes not leaving his face. "I can't believe you chose to read this. Why would a chapter start with someone sticking a knife into another person's privates? This is too insane!" Alexander gasped. The more he complained, the more humorous the situation got. "This is what makes it a dark romance. Now, I feel more excited to read it," I said with a grin.

Most ladies love romance novels, don't they? Hmmm.... I can't speak for them, but I'm definitely among the ladies who love romance novels, especially the ones that end with, "and they all live happily ever after." Isn't that so childish?. Damain asked, rolling his eyes. No it's not, there is nothing more interesting than reading a novel with a beautiful ending. I said smiling. "But you just have to admit it's childish. No it's not. "It is." No it's not. "It is."

In seconds, they had her laughing so hard that tears formed at the corners of her eyes. “Glad that you actually showed up. We were beginning to think Ahaan was keeping you all to himself,” Neil winked at them. “Trying to hoard all the talent on set,” Karan added with a wink. Within minutes, the awkwardness melted completely. It felt oddly like she had known them for years. Later, when the cluster of jokes and laughter began drifting into hunger, KV suggested, “Coffee?” Neil seconded it dramatically. “Caffeine is the only reason we’re functioning human beings.”

In his mind he thought: Why did I say that?! I looked so macho earlier, and now I sound like I just came out in the middle of a confession. That’s embarrassing… but why does it seem like she likes it even more? Meanwhile, Roxane still couldn’t stop laughing. “Well, if this is the kind of date I’m having, I might run out of laughter before the wedding even happens. I thought this was serious, but it’s actually a comedy romance!” Roxane’s cheerful laughter spread around them, as if all the tension and heaviness from earlier had disappeared.

I laughed. We spent the next four hours watching old action movies. We sat side-by-side, sharing my one pair of headphones so we wouldn't make much noise. We made fun of the bad acting and the impossible stunts. Every time a character did something ridiculous, Jax would lean over and whisper a joke into my ear. I watched him more than I watched the screen. I watched the way his eyes lit up when he laughed, and the way he bit his lip when he was focused. I realized that this was what I wanted.

My best friend liked it instantly. [Congrats, Director Thornton. Welcome to freedom!] I was promoted to the position of finance director in my company. I bought my own home, and I had a cat. After everything I had been through, I finally understood that loving myself was where lifelong romance would truly begin.

I lean against the door frame, crossing my arms over the chest. “I don’t know, I picked this up from Bianca’s table in her office. It happened this book is actually a romance.” Showing me the cover of a half-naked man. “And since when you like reading a romance novel?” She barks into laughter. “I’m actually having fun. The guy is an asshole and the woman is a demure type.” “Uh, a stereotyped bad boy, playboy. I know you have a thing for that kind of guy.” I don’t know why suddenly I feel a pang in my chest. She’s already my wife, but still, I’m jealous of her imaginary guy.

“I can’t believe you’re going through with this. We’ve planned our lives together. Why are you determined to destroy everything?” “Anna, did you ever think maybe we’d be better friends than we would be spouses?” “What? We get along, and we’re good in bed together.” “Yes, but is there the excitement you expected?” He knew he was on rocky ground and any minute might get her martini in his face. Anna had a temper. “How ridiculous. Have you been reading romance novels?” She gave a harsh laugh. “All that nonsense about rockets going off and being overwhelmed. It’s all in the writer’s mind. We’re normal, happy people.”

Every time I read romance novels, I've always thought what a bunch of liars those authors are, to put shitty smut that the majority of us women, don't even experience. Like seriously, getting wet just by his presence in the room? Or at the sound of his voice? Bullshit, that's what it is!

This is the money they live on daily, fattening their bellies, yet looking unhappy and broke as ever. Grabbing a romance novel from the side bed, I had the urge to escape from the dramas of this home, reading was the perfect refuge for me. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to concentrate, the laughter was now too much, I could barely understand why Jennifer will laugh so hard as If she was having the be at the time of her life, or maybe it was just to provoke me.
