Romano Brothers Novels & Stories

Whatever softness had existed in the room minutes ago was gone now. “We need to hit back,” Dominic spat. “This isn’t just Diego anymore. He’s partnered with someone.” Alex’s eyes narrowed. “Who?” Dominic swallowed. “Luca Romano.” Silence. The Romanos were a shadow family—low profile, deeply entrenched in international arms trafficking, and notorious for never playing favorites. If they’d aligned with Diego, then it wasn’t just Alex’s empire at risk. It was his life. Sophia stepped forward. “Luca’s dangerous. His reach extends far beyond this city. If he’s backing Diego, then they’re preparing for something big.”

Dylan spat and Adrian's temper flared but, before he could respond his dim-wit brother, Romano returned from the corner where he had gone to make the call. He tapped Adrian's shoulder from behind, as Adrian looked over his shoulder, Romano lowered his face and whispered something to him. Romano pulled away from Adrian’s face after he was done talking. A deep sigh escaped Adrian’s lips. He glanced back at Dylan, his face blank and chin tightened. “I guess the gods are in your favor this time,” Adrian said coldly. “But mark my words, Fratello—if I find out you had anything to do with what happened at the port, you’ll be begging for death.”

Eventually, it became clear that the Romano brothers were behind the disappearances, abducting young girls and selling them to men who turned them into sex slaves. They were arrested but the charges were dropped. Just like that, they walked free. The system had failed and deep down, Jia knew the truth—those brothers were as evil as their name and Silvio? He was the worst of them all. Cold. Heartless. A man who killed without a second thought. She couldn't understand how the police had let them go. How could they have missed it? The fear, the whispers that followed them wherever they went. It didn't make sense.

Everyone and their uncles know that to have the Moscow Bratva owe you a favor is like having the key to heaven. The room falls quiet again. I can see the next name forming on their tongues before they even say it. Luca tries anyway. “Then… the Romanos?” I let the name hang in the air for a second, tasting it. Rafael Romano. That smug, prick from Italy. I remember him from the last summit; sharp suits, sharper smile, always acting like the underworld was a fucking boardroom. I’ve read the reports on his operation. Clean, ruthless. But never a coward.

“I wish we can, but if someone saw both of us together, it would be bad. Remember that I’m your brother’s girlfriend in front of others.” Roman scowled, remembering what happened after the fire. He had been wanting to punch his brother for his recklessness. It wasn’t only because of jealousy, but he cared for Carmen. The poor woman was stuck in his brother’s useless game. Was he not thinking straight after half the company was burned down or was it that he made that decision with his full mind? Everyone knew it wasn’t a big problem for the Romano’s to buy a new and even better building than that one. One building won’t even do much harm to their job. They already have companies all around.

"And you are?" "Viktor Romano. Your cousin… Distant cousin. We met once. You were maybe seven. I was in my twenties." Romano. The name sent ice through my veins. "I don't remember you." "No reason you would. I left the family when you were young. Moved to Prague. Went legitimate. Built a real business." "What do you want?" "To warn you." He didn't wait for permission. Just started talking. "There's a faction. Romano loyalists. People who still believe in Dante's vision. His legacy."

"We have a sadist father. Couldn't he simply lock us in a room without dinner or something—like all normal fathers do?" "We are Romanos," he said in a tone laced with both pride and damnation. "There's nothing normal about us, nor will ever be." It was true. Being a Romano was both a curse and a blessing. How we chose to accept it—defined us at the end of the day. That's what the mighty Alessandro Romano taught us. "And do you think Marco and Aurora will make their peace?" I asked, as the car came to a halt and someone held open the door for us to step out.

What she saw the other night make her shuddered at the thought of it. Zamantungwa was Romeo's sister. She and her brother were so close. Romeo was her elder brother. They could talk about anything and could vouch for each other when they were in troubles that could make them face the wrath of their parents . They would protect each other by any means so that their parents would not punish any of them. There were several times that she (Zamantungwa) would lie so that her brother could get out of trouble. What she saw the night she walked in on Romeo and Julius while they were in the old mini bus made her doubt that she ever knew and trusted him. He suddenly became a stranger to her. How would

I demanded. “I’m not a creep, I swear,” he said quickly. “I just wanted to—” “Which one are you?!” I snapped. He swallowed. “I’m Ramsey. Roman’s brother. Half-brother.” My stomach dropped. Oh. You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.

Does this mean my brother is back as well? "Me here, me behaving," she says promising him that we're not up to any good. "Little demon," Roman, my brother says standing at the door along with Raphael. "Hisss," she hisses at him making him roll his eyes as mine were locked on him. "Hey, we haven't met officially yet, I'm Roman," he says in a voice that had me captivated, he could read me the term and conditions of g****e and I'll be happy to hear him talk.
