Romantic Couples Ice Skating Novels & Stories

"But there's one person I want to thank tonight." My heart skipped. No. Don't. Ryan smiled. "My queen." The entire arena erupted. I stared at him. What? "If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have made it this far." My mouth fell open. What was he doing? Ryan turned slightly, as if searching for me. Then the giant screen above the ice changed. My breath caught. A picture appeared. Ryan and me. Together. Smiling. My heart stopped. It was the picture we had taken two days ago after his training session. The same picture I had taken after sneaking away from Clara just to see him. I hadn't even known anyone had it. The words appeared across the screen. US NATIONAL HOCKEY TEAM'S GOLDEN COUPLE

She blinked, trying to clear them so she could see if she wanted the filet mignon or the salmon. To be honest, at this point she wasn’t sure she wanted to eat at all. She cleared her throat. “So, I thought we could go ice skating tonight,” she said, setting her menu to the side and trying again. “It’s this fun tradition in town to go ice skating the evening after the parade. It’s just for couples and the rink hangs mistletoe in every corner. I thought it would be fun.” She had been looking forward to having a date for once to go with. It was usually full of teenagers and old married couples, but she could see her and Nathan having a wonderful time. Maybe it would even put him in a better moo

I am bursting with pride for the man I’ve fallen in love with. We watch as they skate the lap of the ice, their hockey sticks raised, clapping each other on the back and even stopping for the fans. It’s momentous as tears of happiness prick my eyes. Jeez, I am turning into a mush bucket, but who cares. I am the happiest I have ever been.

"They have so much history together. All those years of friendship, and then when they finally got together senior year... it was like watching a fairy tale. Such a shame it didn't work out." I scoffed under my breath. Love of his life? What happened to Sexy Red being his grand obsession? Did Danny collect dream women like some people collected vintage wines? I glanced over at Danny and Maia, who were skating hand in hand and gazing into each other's eyes like they were starring in some cheesy romantic movie. The whole scene was so sickeningly sweet it could have given me diabetes. "Isn't Sexy Red supposed to be the one?" I muttered to myself, then immediately looked around to make sure no o

Emmeline pulled free of Richard's embrace and stalked over to the sled, flopping down on the narrow wooden seat with a huff of irritation. She leaned forward, elbows braced on splayed knees as she stared moodily at the ground between her feet, trying in vain to ignore the heated prickle of Zavian's stare burning into the back of her neck. "Emmeline? What's gotten into you now?" Richard asked in exasperation, moving to settle in behind her on the sled. His arms came around her waist in a loose embrace, pulling her back against the solid warmth of his chest despite her resistance. "The whole point of these double skis is to stay close together, you know. Look around - all the other couples are

“Because so many of our wonderful fans decided to come to the Statford Freeze’s practice game, we’ve decided to hold a special reward. All couples featured on the kiss cam will win free tickets to the next match!” A loud cheer breaks out in the audience. I clapped politely. I look down at the rink below us. The Statford Freeze members are skating around and clapping each other on the shoulders. With Aiden still celebrating on the rink with his team, this won’t affect me. The camera turns to the first couple. They begin cheering and kiss excitedly. The crowd applauds loudly for them and their display of affection. I can’t help but smile at the touching sight.

, I felt a twist of irony so sharp it felt like a knife. Yes, I wanted to scream. I'm pregnant. And so is his mistress. Halfway through the night, the music stopped. Liam tapped a spoon against his glass. "Everyone, if I could have your attention," he bellowed, his charisma on full display. The crowd hushed. Liam stood on the raised platform near the pool, with Sophia standing just a few feet away, beaming. "Tonight isn't just about celebrating my beautiful wife," Liam said, gesturing to me. The spotlight hit me, and I squinted. "It's about family. As you know, the Glaciers are a family."

she laughed. “Yeah, baby. What, you don’t want to remember how we ruined your desk?” We both laughed, knowing this night was unforgettable. I pulled her closer as we walked, reluctant to let her go. “You must be in the auditorium?” “Yeah, they got us watching Marvel movies.” “Kayla loves Captain America.” “You could take her in there.” “No way, I don’t want her seeing me with her teacher right now.”

“It’s alright. Just follow my movements.” Nora slowly practiced her footing to get the motion of it. With trembling legs, she slipped once again, but Liam clasped her. “Just trust me, I won’t let you fall,” he promised, holding her hands. Relaxing her body, she moved around, being extra careful. At that moment, soft music played, and the lights turned into a shade of purple-pink, making the atmosphere extremely romantic. On the ice, clear and shiny, the two figures skating side by side, slowly yet clumsily.

Of course everyone would know who I was partnering with if they watched figure skating. “You mean my partner in crime? Yeah. Still very much the same perfectionist he’s always been. If I so much as breathe wrong during a spin, he gives me that disappointed dad look.” She laughed. “Oh, come on. I’ve seen the interviews, Sam. The two of you have insane chemistry on the ice. Don’t tell me nothing’s going on off it.” she mumbled. I nearly choked. “Sara!” “What?” she teased, wiggling her brows. “You two glide around like you’re in a slow-motion movie scene. If that’s not love brewing, I don’t know what is.”
