"Roseline is behind the abductions." I was wrapping the towel around her shoulders when she spoke and I froze at once. "Juliet–" I did not know how to react. One part of me told me that Juliet was making things up, that her mind was playing tricks on her but the logical part of me wondered slightly if this could be true. "Juliet, maybe you're mistaken. There's no way it was Roseline." My head was spinning. I was thinking back to the times after Juliet abduction. Roseline had not acted out of the ordinary. She was Ariel's best friend for crying out loud. The Roseline I knew was probably troubled but she did not have an evil bone in her body.

A red rose is not selfish because it wants to be a red rose. ✾ “Your arm?” I blink reluctantly at the woman in front of me. Biting my bottom lip, I slowly raise my hand and show her my wrist. She grabs onto it, pulling it towards her. She smiles at me, or I think she does, the only part of her that I could see either way was her lips, the bottom part of her nose, and everything below her ankles. Then she pulls a small sharp pen from her pocket, stabs it on my wrist, making me flinch. The pen starts turning red, and just like that she had taken some of my blood.

ROSALINE I was in the living room reading a novel when I heard the front door open and I saw Vincenzo walk in with Bianca behind him. "Hi," I waved at Vincenzo. He gave me a warm smile, "It's good to see you're in good condition, Rose." "Thank you," I smiled and yelped in surprise when Bianca engulfed me in a bone crushing hug. "Please endure her, she has had a lot of sugar today. I'll see you ladies later," he chuckled and walked into the hallway.

Leaning down, he offered his hand to bring her up. Rose looked at the offered hand longingly, debating if she should follow the rules or just have fun… as the boy started to wiggle his fingers she grasped his hand and jumped up onto the side of the fence panel. The ladies were all so engrossed in ogling the soldiers and their muscles that no one noticed her for once and she could at last have some real fun! Giving the boy her attention, Rose introduced herself; “thank you for helping me get a better view young sir, I do love watching! My name is Rose Duncaster, heiress to this manor.”

Jeffrey rushed home with the last glimmer of hope and finally panicked completely when he saw the dark and empty house. The rose in the greenhouse had the courage to escape. No one could accept it. Rose could only follow the Little Prince around and never leave. He froze in place, looking at the bouquet placed in the center of the door. He then realized how ridiculous he had been. I wrapped him one last bouquet, but unfortunately, none of those flowers were roses. The rose had gone to find freedom. He couldn't keep me, and I no longer belonged to him.

"Is there something on my face?" Benjamin smiled. "No." Rose tilted her head slightly. "Then why have you been staring at me?" Everyone's attention immediately shifted toward Benjamin. He laughed softly before pushing himself away from the wall and walking over. "I suppose I should introduce myself properly." He politely extended his hand. "I'm Benjamin Lee. " He smiled lightly. "A friend of these troublesome people." Rose accepted the handshake. "Rose Gray." Benjamin nodded. "I know. I've heard quite a bit about you tonight. Although some people didn't want us to meet, fate has its own plans.” He said while glancing at both Alex and Nicholas.

The hall quietened, the silence hanging like a thick veil - almost as if everyone had suddenly held their breaths on wisp. The red - haired male stepped forward, reaching out for the bouquet of roses. His eyes filled with silent contemplation as he stared at the blooming,fresh roses and then at Dylan's expecting eyes. Without another thought he tossed the roses to the ground, trampling on them with his shoes tilled their petals scattered around in the dust.
