Rose I drove home with my heart pounding so hard I swore it might burst right out of my chest. Mr handsome scent still clung to me, clean, warm, and masculine, and every time I breathed it in, a flutter swept through my stomach. Without realizing it, a smile tugged at my lips, the kind of smile I hadn’t worn in years. Lord, what is wrong with me? When I pulled into the driveway and stepped inside, the first thing I saw was Lucas and Eva at the dining table, eating the breakfast I had made hours ago.
