He flipped open the cap, and with one flick, he watched countless, sleepless nights turn to nothing but ash and fumes.

Rosie said, “I am a wolf. Shall I shit and show you my shiny wolf coat? Being called a demon is a slur for wolves.” “I look… different,” I murmured not hearing Rosie’s and Daisy’s bickering. Not beautiful like the noblewomen. Not delicate. Not ethereal. But I looked like a version of Layla who could stand next to the prince without embarrassing him completely. A version of me that wasn’t repulsive. Before I could soak that in, Rosie marched to her trunk with a sense of purpose that frightened me. She already doesn’t like him with her; they come and sit on the large double sofa next to the single one Rosie is sitting on. Ryan passes her one of the pizza boxes and keeps one for them. He goes to Netflix and plays a horror movie. Rosie secretly rolls her eyes knowing too well, why he did that. She angrily starts stuffing her mouth with pizza. Rhea cuddles with him, from Rosie’s side it seems like she's sitting on

Rosie shoves me off her, then leers at me, "You know something, don't you?" I start to back away, "Hey! Don't do that; come here!" Rosie demands. I groan, "Alright, fine, yes, I have encountered him before." "And?" I pause for a second, "Not good." "What did he do?" Rosie asks. "Well-" I didn't want to tell her that her mate cashed me down and was going to have his way with me. But I didn't want to lie to her either, "Okay, he isn't prince charming. He's more of that creepy villain..."

It seemed to slow reluctantly, passing over every broken soul before finally, inevitably, landing on Rosie. Rosie, who had started this final act by silencing Cassie. Rosie, who had watched her best friend be brutalized and had then orchestrated the queen’s fall. She looked at the bottle, then at Justin’s hate-filled eyes. “Truth or Dare, you vindictive cunt?” Justin hissed. Rosie met his gaze without flinching. “Truth,” she said, her voice steady. She had seen the physical dares. She wanted no part of that.

"What was her survival rate?" Silas hesitated. "She was only in stage three. You're terminal. It's different." "They donated 30 million to your research fund," I said, fixing my eyes on him. "Is that what makes it different?" His face darkened. "Chloe, how can you think of me like that? I developed this drug for you." Seeing the righteous look on his face, I suddenly laughed. "Silas, do you even remember how I got this illness in the first place?"

"You know nothing, absolutely nothing about me! And I won't stand here and-" She straightened slowly. With her hands on her lap, she leaned forward to stare at me intently. "And what?" she said. "Go on. Have you run out of things to say already?" Actually, I hadn't. I had stopped talking because I had suddenly began to feel... strange. But I couldn't let Rosy think that she had intimidated me. Yes, she was very wealthy and yes, her project was the largest which Dimitri's company was handling, but that didn't mean she could walk all over me. The the thin, cruel smile spreading across her face made me want to scream in rage.

She asked curiously. I hesitated, dreading what I had to say next. "There's something bigger about Scarlett, Rose. Something I'm afraid to even consider." I began. Rose's face paled. "What is it, Roman? Tell me." She asked with curious eyes. I took a deep breath, steeling myself. "The bombers described their contractor. A young, blonde woman who hired them seven days ago. I can't think of anyone else it could be but Scarlett." I informed her, grimly.
