Blue Like The Moonlight
A sound he hasn't heard in about four months, a sound only heard in some other strand of reality he cannot quite remember.
He had to see more.
He felt more before he could see it. A distinct sting in one of his arms, but it faded within mere seconds.
His feet planted into the area he conquered with each stunted step. The closer he got, the stronger the red was. Though, he couldn't for the life of him describe what red was. It was a feeling, a taste, a smell, just, everything.
Roses.
That was one of the first things he noticed as he reached two feet behind him. It was an irrefutable fact.
Red roses.
