They ended up sitting next to each other on a bench outside the cafeteria, eating their respective toasts. He finished his and got started on another one, while she's still munching on her first.
'Munching' is too much of a stretch. 'Nibbling' would be a more accurate word to describe the way she eats. Jay doesn't really feel hungry today, just angry that people are trying to get close to her because of her brother.
And her asshole of a brother is not showing up to their ritual breakfast today, so she's stuck with his giant friend. Not really stuck, she can get up and leave anytime, but being next to him feels a little safer.
