She’s childish and annoying as fuck. “You called her pathetic, why?” He seriously asked. He’s damn ignoring his fiancée. I nodded and bravely met his deadly glaze. “Yes, I called her pathetic. The reason is clear, Your Majesty. I don’t need to explain why,” I answered. I saw the edge of his lips slightly rose. “Do you know the consequence of offending a royal member?” I’m aware. I used to be one of them before, and now I regret it. The royalties are full of crazy people who only know how to value themselves. I nodded, “I’m aware that there’s a consequence,” I said plainly.

I might not check in with my mother for a day or two, but Maria is always calling me daily, wanting to know about my day-to-day habits and if there's a reason why I've given up on God. I haven't given up on the big old guy. There are just some connection problems that have gotten in the way. Maria is a protestant, and she has raised me to be deeply religious, while my royal family is Catholic, and they attend church like a lone sheep lost on its way home, departed from the herd. They are good at covering it up, though. They would pretend to be deeply religious like the godforsaken animals we all are whenever it comes to our attention. Especially if it's going on air to be broadcasted on the

"Bold words for someone even the guards disrespect." "Bold words maybe, but true. They obey their queen, but I am still the princess of this island. You are nothing but a man with enough money to buy the crown and nothing else." She laughed and clapped sardonically. "Congratulations, you passed the test to be a lowly puppet in exchange for a throne." "What a privileged puppet, hm. An entire kingdom to rule with a beautiful woman by my side." "Keep riding those horses. When you finally fall off, I'll be there to spit in your face."

The emperor looked at me as if he's waiting for me to bow to him too, Shan nudged me. I looked at the emperor sharply. " I don't bow down to anyone. " I said. The emperor laughed. "I like your boldness. " He commented, i remained silent. He shook his head and smirked when he saw i was holding Shan's hand. " You do know that the royal family doesn't allow any cut sleeves to run the empire. " "And you do know that I'm not part of your family and i will never be. " I snapped. Shan held my arm to stop me.

Calypso asked. “Nymph, all the information we looked at is useful. It’s just a case of none of it proving to be useful right now,” Killian corrected. “Thank you smartass,” the siblings told him, making Cassidy and Frazier laugh. “I’m just saying,” Killian defended. “Hold on, I think I’ve found something,” Cassidy jumped up. “What is it?” Nathan asked her. “It’s something called the Royal Challenge. It’s when someone challenges the King to a challenge to see if they could be the better king,” Cassidy read.

“Then you already have your answer.” “Loyalty is fragile,” I said. “Especially when it’s built on fear.” His eyes darkened. “Careful.” “I’m offering you something better,” I continued. “Security. Influence. A future where you’re not just following orders.” “I already have that,” he snapped. “I’m loyal to Royal.” The name landed heavily between us. Royal. The kind of name people whispered, not spoke. The kind of man who didn’t forgive betrayal. “Royal doesn’t protect loyalty,” I said quietly. “He owns it.”

Or if he’s earnest and is amused I can’t comprehend what he’s saying. “What doesn’t fall into your belief system, Bailey? That royals exist? How do you explain Kate and William? I’d say Meghan and Harry, but they flew the coop, so I suppose they’re not the best of examples for the royal family as a whole or as a concept, and—” “Where is this castle of yours?” I interject before he really gets rolling and I can’t find a single excuse not to take stock in this direction in which he’s headed.

~Anthony~ I was utterly taken aback. How could they conjure up such a slew of nonsense in such a short span? It was evident that this was a targeted assault on our reputation, executed with a level of finesse that was almost impressive. The article was devoid of any substance that warranted the journalist's arrest; it was simply crafted to sow discord within the Royal Council and instil doubt in the minds of our citizens. It was a wicked yet cunning tactic, and unfortunately, we found ourselves on the receiving end of it.

Aldrich smiled thinly as he looked from me to the dull coloured grass ahead of us and then let out a long breath as he sighed “I had hoped the rumours about your father’s rule wasn’t true.” “Rumours?” I asked curiously. He nodded as he continued to speak. “There are kings I am allies with. Well, in fact, over the years they’re more trusted friends than just mere allies. There are some that have come here a long time ago now and they all had the very same descriptions as one another. These are the same kings that have refused to join in a truce with Edric” “And what did they all say?” I asked in a mere whisper, my heart beating faster at the dread of what I was about to hear. I knew it wasn’t

Brook was also involved with covering all the details along with Joana so he had everything prepared. "Exactly. He is just too clean to be true. He never comes for any interviews, we could hardly see his face just one time we could photograph him when Mr Benson of Benson group had a complaint against him. And there is just no controversy about him. No girlfriends, no family issues. Like nothing." "You can't complain if he is just too clean for his royal background." Brook scoffed. "Boo! You guys are just too swoon about his Royal-ness. I bet 100$ he is not clean like he portrays he is." Lily challenged as Brook laughed.
