She swallowed, her body suddenly remembering its previous weakness. "No, you are not." Rebekah grasped her face. "You are not." "What would getting married to him do? It would only turn mother against him and she could hurt him even more." "Depends on when she finds out about it." Rebekah grinned. "Have you been gone so long you have forgotten the custom of your own home?" "What are you talking about." "Polygamy is forbidden here, especially in the royal family. They see it as a sure way to ensure an heir is produced. So female or male, royals are only allowed one husband. You can't marry another while your first is still alive."

Three of the wealthiest families in the kingdom. Three of the quiet funders of the Crown Princess’s stay. They arrived in fine carriages, all polished pride and cold courtesies. I didn’t offer wine. I didn’t even let them sit. “I’ve found ghost companies connected to your family accounts,” I said flatly. “And funds that trace back to the treasonous Crown Princess.” They went pale. “She’s a member of the royal family—” “She is not,” I snapped. “She’s a relic. One you’ve foolishly poured your fortunes into.”

Edmund sat down opposite me, while Ashton remained standing. “There are four royal lines spread throughout Europe. The oldest family is yours. The second family is the Archambeau line, the third family is the Conrad line, and the fourth family is the Anselm line. The St. Claire line ruled in Scotland, and the Archambeau line still rules in France. The Conrad line rules in Germany, and the Anselm line rules in Denmark,” Edmund said. “My insanity comment hasn’t changed,” I said. Edmund regarded me carefully. Royal families? This man was delusional, and he was really convinced that I was this prince he was looking for. I could almost laugh at the absurdity of it all.

"We are glad to finally be a part of your family" Ron spoke with so much happiness. Of course, to have a family relationship with Fernandez is a blessing. They are wonderful people in addition to being number one in business. "Don't feel burdened as I am helping you in your new branch restaurant. It's purely business that I plan to invest in there. Don't ever think that we are proposing this marriage for business" Frank wanted to be clear on this. They liked Ron's family a lot. Being at the top, they managed to raise beautiful children. Frank loved Clara Alina and Elsa.

He wondered what could be the hidden relationship between the Lambert family and the royal family. The Lambert family was known as business people in the country who always maintained a low profile. They had no entanglements nor relationship with the ruling family. You couldn't imagine the shock he had when he saw that Mark. He had speculated that maybe the Lambert family was the mysterious crown protector but dumped that thought immediately. The Lambert family did not have a single direct descendant male so how could they be the protectors of the crown? It was simply unbelievable.

I said before laughing a little. “Maybe you’re right…” he muttered after a short moment of thought. “Does your work have a lot to do with this industry?” I asked before I could rein in my curiosity. “Sometimes, not all the time. The royal family is the biggest shareholder of all the largest companies in the country after all so it’s a little bit like our family business…” the prince explained. “A family business…” I murmured in wonder. “You’re probably wondering how this kingdom got involved in this kind of business in the first place, right?” Prince Leonard asked with an understanding nod of his head.

"George, I know that isn't the problem because you know Dawson has that much power, after all, she doesn't have any family that will try to delve further into the case…" "Mason is still at large." George interrupted as he stood up to face his mom. Stephanie chuckled eerily, "What do you think someone who will die anytime soon will be able to do?" She asked curiously, leaving George speechless. "I know you're thinking divorce, but if you trace the history of the Marlowes, you will see that there has never been a divorce in the linkage. That is the only thing we have in common with the Royal family and we don't want to tarnish that…especially now that we are so close to fulfilling the age-long

I don't quite understand what he just explained, does he mean that all of my family members are part of that so-called 'royalties'? "Okay, to make it a lot more comprehensible for you, I hope you do realize that your parents are both Princess and a Prince, right?" I nodded and put another spoon of food in my mouth. "The members of the royalties are all from the royal families of the tribes. Is it clear now?" I nodded and finished the last piece of my food. Another servant immediately came and cleaned it right after. I smiled and thanked her, but she just bowed down curtly and hurriedly went back to what I supposed to be the kitchen.

Of all the protestors, he had shouted the loudest. With a faint smile on his face, Nigel looked at Troika and said, “Troika Bullock, I remember you! So, the Bullock family refuses to pledge loyalty to me?” Troika snorted. “Your title as a royal family is only but a title, Nigel Jade. In reality, you are just another clan here in this godforsaken place called Northern Rafinesque. This is not ancient times, fool, are you seriously thinking of becoming an imperial family?”

Well, Xanth had made Ryder agree to this because, what better way to introduce Lyra to the rest of the family, although they all knew that she had arrived days before, not everyone had seen or met with her. Ulric Nyx, Iris’ father, sat at one end of the long table, facing Ryder, to his left was Ermine Nyx, his wife, Alastair, his son and then Iris, seated to the right of Ryder. On the other side of the table was Xanth and Uncle Mavrek, and just these seven people made up the royal family of Astaroth. But then, the only true royals were Ryder, Xanth and Mavrek, Iris and her family had gotten the title of royalty only through her betrothal to Ryder, and they exercised every right that came wit
