Moon Bound With You

Moon Bound With You

Like something inside me had locked onto a signal it refused to let go of. “He’s close,” I said. Ember glanced back sharply. “How close?” I shook my head. “I don’t know. But it’s stronger than before.” Cael slowed, his expression unreadable. “The ruins respond to proximity,” he said. “Yours especially.” “Then keep moving,” I replied. “Before they realize I’m here.” We descended through broken stone steps, the walls narrowing as we went. Runes flickered faintly along the rock older than the ones used by the Order, more primal. They pulsed as I passed, reacting like nerves under my skin.

Built from Ruins

he said, his voice a low, dangerous purr and was way to close for my liking. "It’s called resilience, Lucas. You should try it," I replied, sitting up and pulling my silk robe tighter around my chest. He didn't snap back. Instead, he leaned forward, resting his hands on the footboard. "I’ve spent the morning looking at a very interesting hole in my treasury. Ten million pounds, to be exact. It seems to have vanished right as it left your mother’s trust." I forced my expression to remain flat. "Computers fail, Lucas. Maybe you should have spent more on your IT team and less on the stupid retina scanners."

FROM RUIN TO RULE

FROM RUIN TO RULE

"Is there any chance my father knows about it?" "Unlikely. The entrance was sealed with Daevari magic. Only someone of my blood can open it, and as far as anyone knows, I'm the last of my kind." Eron moved away from the window and sat in the chair across from me, his movements careful and deliberate. "But getting there will be the problem. The ruins are in the Blackthorn Range, high in the mountains. The only path passes within sight of three Crescent Fang outposts." "So we'd have to sneak through territory crawling with my father's soldiers, climb a mountain, break into an ancient vault, and get back out again. All while Aldrich is preparing for war and proba

Thalia's Ashen Fate

Thalia's Ashen Fate

"Why? And more importantly, how do we get out?" "The distortion is likely a symptom of the ruin's decay," he explained, his eyes, lit by my magic, scanning our surroundings. "But I don't believe this is one of your 'activated' ruins. Those are sealed, usually marked by statues standing sentinel. This place feels open, broken... porous. The creatures weren't guardians; they simply wandered in." He paused, his gaze dropping to the floor ahead. "Watch your step." The ground was a treacherous mess of rubble and shattered stones. I tried to lift my leg over a large chunk of rock, but my whole body felt weighted with lead. I swayed, a wave of dizziness washing over

The Bait, The Ruin

The Bait, The Ruin

“Careful!” Her hand suddenly shoves me lower. “There are cameras there. Get down.” I flatten myself instantly. Ahead sits a maintenance garage filled with damaged vehicles, scrap metal, old machinery, and maintenance materials protected beneath a large zinc-roofed shelter. The place looks abandoned. Which usually means it's hiding something. I crawl after her on my stomach, keeping my gun steady and my eyes moving. “In here,” she grunts. She disappears beneath a broken truck with four flat tires. I'm about to ask why she's crawling under a vehicle when I notice she's moving a massive metal barrier covering what looks like the mouth of a well.

RUINED OR PATCHED

RUINED OR PATCHED

“Raise your hands! Raise it!!“. The vice-principal shrieked before he began to search for Shola. At the end of the search, he found nothing. “You boys need to be careful in this citadel, you must be very careful, never you guys take us for granted, decorum, order, and honesty must reign in this citadel; no man, again I say no man can breach the goals”. The vice said and left Shola.

Beautifully Ruined

Beautifully Ruined

Even the bambolina called First Lady created some silly charity called 'REBUILD DARK WOODS'. One fact that remained though, was that Dark Woods wasn’t destroyed. It was not. And for that, I was glad. But what made me weak in the knees was the idea of what the whole incident may do to Vernero. That castle was more than strong pillars of hard iron rods covered in cement; it was more than his home. It was his haven. And for it to be ambushed, I was afraid it was going to cut all the little restraints left in him. That’s what I feared the most. It was terrifying.

Ruined

Ruined

Bringing her bruised hand upward, she rubbed two fingers on side of her head. Whimpering with each movement, she sat up in fetal position, resting the back of her head against the wall, feeling the world rotating each second. Her eyes watered, seeing visible bruises on her both wrists, testifying how she was cuffed like an animal last night. She lifted her hand to rub the swollen bruise on her forehead only to find the spot damped with ointment. What was the point of this? After destroying her what was he trying to prove? Her irises lowered and traced the marks on most parts of her body, mocking her ruination.

Before I write my review, I must say this, this book needs A MAJOR EDIT!! With so many grammatical and punctuation errors I struggled to get through it!! Having to read and reread sentences and paragraphs is really exhausting!!Other than that it was a good read with a good plot.

The Outcast’s Fate

The Outcast’s Fate

“There’s only one path. You need to travel north, through the Wildthorn Forest. The trees there grow so thick that the sunlight barely reaches the ground. There’s a river to the west of the forest—it’s the only way across the land that leads directly to the Ruins.” Alex’s eyes flickered, her expression tight. “You’ll need to stay off the main trails. The creatures that roam those parts aren’t… friendly. You’ll have to be quiet, stay hidden. And when you reach the Ruins…” She paused, her breath catching. “You’ll know you’re there. The moment you step into the place, you’ll feel it. The air is different, heavy, like the ground its
