“Good evening, Miss.” The woman extended her hand. “Sabrina,” she said by way of introduction. “My name is Sabrina Lynn Sutherland.” Fabrizio glanced briefly at her outstretched hand, then ignored it. “I’m here to pick up Miss Eirene.” Sabrina narrowed her eyes as if weighing something up. Her lips curved into a slanted smile that almost resembled a sneer. “She’ll be out shortly.” Without waiting for Fabrizio to respond, Sabrina turned around and stepped back inside. He stood there, upright and alert, until the sound of slower, hesitant footsteps came from within.

“I didn’t take it as such.” Renaud took one step toward her. “You will leave this room now.” Sabine finally looked at him fully. There was no fear in her. That would have been almost reassuring. Fear makes people sloppy. Sabine was precise because she believed the room should always bend if she waited long enough. “Before I do,” she said, “you should know the calls have escalated.” “Then answer them with a lie,” Renaud said. “You’ve had practice.” One elegant eyebrow lifted. “And tell them what? That your wife was nearly run off the road because random men in winter coats developed poor judgment? That no one in your circle is leaking? That your marriage remains a stable and useful asset?”

Whatever force had guided her in her spectral approach now assured her that the workshop, not the main house, was where Sabine would be waiting to receive her. She pulled the door handle towards her and beheld the workshop interior, lit, as had been her intuitive expectation. The light was soft, from candles. Sabine sat on a log stool at the smith's bench, an array of minerals before her. She did not look up at Myrtle's entrance, but smiled. "You heard our Call." Myrtle watched her delicately brushing through some black, gleaming powder with a small horsehair implement. "It was you?" "Not only me. All of us. We've been planning your Call for some months now, you know."

“I handled myself just fine.” She did. And I hated how much I liked that. “Venus! Aaron! Come on, the donations are about to start!” Sabine called from inside, waving. She looked radiant. She always did. You’re probably wondering how I could loathe Caroline and still care about her daughter. It’s complicated.

But the moment the woman spoke, her blood turned cold. "Well, well. If it isn't the fallen princess herself." Caliste froze, her hand hovering above a scarf. She turned slowly. Standing just a few feet away in a designer coat and stilettos was Sabrina Hall, one of the most notorious socialites of her circle—sharp-tongued, ruthless, and forever lurking in Lucian's shadows. They were never close, but Sabrina always found a way to insert herself into the competition. Sabrina's lips curled into a mocking smirk. "Didn't recognize you at first. You've become so… common." Her eyes scanned Caliste from head to toe. "No heels. No diamond bracelets. No staff trailing behind."

Sabrina’s eyebrows deeply furrowed upon hearing the woman’s voice. ‘Who’s this?’ she thought. Her sleepiness instantly went away and was immediately fully awakened at the thought of another woman in Gabriel’s life. “Gabriel?” The caller called her husband's name so softly that Sabrina felt like it was not good in her ears. It was not Elizabeth, she was certain about it. Even though she only had a few encounters with the woman, she would never forget her annoying high pitch voice that was painful in her ears.

"Mrs Robertson I'd go straight to the point. I'm a very busy woman as you know it so I can't stay too long for idle chit chat." Sabine said as she chuckled. Sienna watched her closely waiting for what she would say. "Have you ever met a Mr Gabriel Caine in your profession? Mr Gabriel Caine?" Sienna furrowed her eyebrows. She was a nurse, she met lots of patients and their families. "I can't say that I remember..." Sabine nodded. "Let me juggle your memory. You found him a breast milk donor." "Oh! Oh! I remember now!" Sienna exclaimed and Sabine seemed to sigh in relief.

Sabine laughed silently beside me, her hands wrapped around her lips in an attempt to cover her grin. "Oh, and you are?" He said, barely sparing me a glance as he looked at me for a moment before looking away, like I was some bothersome insect I chuckled before I said, "Vitiello, Dominic Vitiello, and she is my wife, Sabine Vitiello, do I need to speak further?" He scoffed loudly, his yellow teeth on display as he said, with a stupid grin on his face, "Never heard of you, but this lovely lady here? She looks too good to be in your hands," he said, pushing himself up so he could look taller than he was

She had almost not heard the noise that came from the alleyway she passed by. She did not consider herself to be a very brave person so decided to continue walking on her way. Whatever was going on in there had nothing to do with her and she was sure that it was nothing really. But suddenly she heard a voice that sounded more like the way a snake would speak English, if it were able to do so, than a human voice. It said her name. “Isabelle!”

She was angry and scared, her fingernails sinking into her palm, but she still smiled calmly and said, "Little girl, it is your blessing to be favored by Director Norman, and you can't refuse it." Arielle glanced at her, she remembered this Sabrina. When she died in her previous life, Sabrina was already an international movie star, and all of them were held up by Ricardo Norman. She entered Hollywood, and she was a person with high IQ and emotional intelligence. Just like at this moment, she is clearly angry and scared, but she can still be so calm. Arielle said lightly, "It's enough for Norman to have Miss Sabrina as the goddess, there's no need for one more." After speaking, Arielle turne
