I shifted my angle behind the fern, squinting through the uneven torchlight to see what the Sentinel was pointing at. The breath caught in my throat. My vision blurred, a sudden wave of vertigo nearly dropping me to my knees. Carved deep into the center of Master Harrison’s pale, bloodless chest was a symbol. A perfect, clean crescent moon, split down the center by a jagged vertical spike, its base surrounded by three concentric, broken rings.

Something older, darker, had been triggered. He looked down again. The sigil was pulsing. Kaelion placed his palm near it, and the glow reacted, repulsing him with a blast of heat. Kaelion brushed her hair away from her face, cradling her as though sheer will could keep her alive. “Stay with me, little one. Come on.” Then, a light glowed beneath the blood. He flinched back as golden sigils carved themselves into her stomach, burning through her skin like fire branding flesh. An intricate spiral formed, ancient and forbidden, It was indeed the Sigil of Undoing.

It's all clean lines and dark wooden accents. There are no creepy carvings. Or claw marks from wolves gone feral. Only the golden pack sigil. It’s so striking, it looks like it could summon a god, or end one. Dead centre is a black sun with golden rays. Surrounded by a golden star. Five-pointed, of course. Each point wraps around moons, arrows, and those creepy little runes that no one will explain but everyone pretends to understand. Top of the five-pointed star? A pentagram, because of course. Just in case we weren’t already diving headfirst into ‘forbidden magic’ vibes.
