"I see Rowan hasn't given you much information about me, has he?" I frown, the skin prickling with a sense of unrest. "Who are you?" I repeat, my voice sharper now. There is a pause, then the voice lowers, almost like a whisper that coils around me. "Sinclair. Rowan's brother." Rowan's... brother? The revelation leaves me wordless for a moment. Why hadn't he ever mentioned a brother? And why would he be calling me, speaking in cryptic threats? "You look surprised," Sinclair continues, his voice dripping with a mix of amusement and something darker, more sinister. "But don’t worry—I’ve been watching closely. You’re quite an interesting part of Rowan’s life."

He shook Carter's hand, but Carter pulled him into a bro hug, patting his back. I'd leave now. But just know I'd be back. If I remembered correctly, we still have some unfinished business, right?" Rowan turned around to walk away but suddenly stopped on his tracks. He turned to her again, a mocking smirk on his lips. "Ah, how about your little brother? Is he finally out of coma? Oh he is. I heard he's having a business tour around the world at the moment."
