“From today onwards, Kieran is the new Luna of our pack and you will all treat her with the respect she deserves” One by one, I watched their heads bow in reverence. It was supposed to feel nice but it didn't. I ignored the holes that Sabrina was burning into my head. If I thought this was somewhat over, then clearly I was just being delusional.

“Make me an iced coffee, okay? I will be right back.” As he leaves, I notice there are a few girls from the pack heading for the cash register. It’s Linda and her two friends, Sara and Felicia. I hear his voice guiding me, “Savannah, walk through the forest with me” Suddenly I’m barefoot, walking through a pine forest. I hear a wolf howling. I know that howl, it’s my wolf. It’s Sahara. “Sahara, I’m coming girl”. The howls become more panicked. She’s trapped. I start running towards her. She’s calling for me, frantically.

The sight of Sasha, a fellow maid, came to sight. “Alpha Ryu is just like the others, if you ask me. He’s cruel, ruthless, and definitely not the man any lady should be dealing with.” “I think he’s handsome, charming, and has a physique every lady would be dying to be underneath.” Sasha responded, her eyes concentrating on the ceiling as she daydreamed.
