This steamy romance story explores the life of Audrey, the mother of 5 year old Keila who desperately seeks a chance to save her daughter’s life. Her baby girl Keila has very little time to live without proper medication and despondent Audrey is driven to an edge. She finds herself with a job as a help for Luther, a prickly 36 year old perfectionist. She takes the job as it’s her only chance to save Keila. ** Luther, a 36 years old, has a stable job and has his entire life set out for him, now all he needs is someone to manage his house and cater to his needs. Audrey ends up filling that position and both characters go through a rollercoaster of emotions while trying to navigate the complexities of their relationship. After finding out about the secret Luther has kept from her, Audrey is over come by betrayal.   Will Luther be able to win her back? Would Audrey forgive him for keeping such a secret?

"I live miserable from the thought I killed my parents! All my life I was insulted, mocked, accused, and dethroned! And then, I discovered it was all done by my half-brother and your father?! Embrace yourself! I will wipe out all your kind," I roared. "You can't do it," A playful smirked form on my lips. "C'mon, darling... I can," "I thought you love me?" she asked while tears streaming down her face. I stopped in my trance and gulped hard. An excruciating pain kicked in inside my chest. "Yes! It's all fucking true! But hatred is much stronger than this shit feeling I felt for you! Today, you are nothing to me but a whore!" I spat, trying to fool myself. She burst into tears and held her chest that was aching. "Choose, William... Me or revenge?" she asked with her hopeful eyes. Instead of answering it, I stood firm and looked into her eyes intently. "I, Alpha King William, rejected you Mira to be my mate. Get ready... This town will bathe in blood." I heartlessly said before turning my back and leaving her in tears.

It's Kleo's 17th birth and her closest friends have all decided to treat her for the day. While at a lounge, her mom(a nurse) surprises her with a single phone call telling her to come home early which was a shock due to how busy the nurse schedule is but when mother calls you just have to listen. Never been behind the wheel before and getting praised for her driving skills it was unanimously decided as a joke that kleo should drive which as it turns out was a bad idea to begin with. A truck hits her car and puts her into a coma and is rushed to the hospital. On the other hand there's Avan and Avan's mom has cancer. She has a year to live but as fate would have it her room is just right beside Kleo's room. Avan always used to see kleo's room full of visitors but never the girl they were there to see, however, he notices that it's empty today, the day the doctors announce his mother's remaining life span... Dejected, sad and angry he storms out of the room and happens to be around when Kleo's room was left opened, sneaking a peak to notice the beautiful girl that is unconscious.

There is a lot of mystery, secrets, misunderstanding and most importantly lack of trust.
