I nodded and rushed into his arms and he twirled me around, kissing me until I got dizzy. The crowd didn't matter. The cameras didn't matter. I loved my father-in-law and he was the man for me. He pulled me closer, whispering against my temple. “You’re mine.” I laughed against him. “You too.” And so, I went from being Sansa Vale to Sansa Wolfe and then back to Sansa Vale and then a Wolfe again. But this time, Winston was the Wolfe of my dream. I am Sansa Wolfe. My ex father-in-law’s craziest obsession.

What do I do? He was going to explain later how he was able to link me. For now, I would throw him a bone. I smiled at Sansa and moved over to link my arm with hers. Then I led her closer to Jaxon who looked completely stunned. “Sansa, this is Jaxon. Jaxon, this is Sansa. She’s one of our elite warriors,” I said, smiling at them both. Sansa’s eyes wandered from him to me and back to him. Then she bowed her head to him. Why would she bow her head? I was so very confused right now.

"It's okay, Aiden. Sansa’s not going to do anything to you,” Eva explained as she tried to get him off her back. “What's that?” He asked without leaving his place, although following us out of the elevator. "That's a dog, and her name is Sansa,” I answered seeing that Milena looked at my pet with curiosity, so I bent down for her to get a better look. At least the girl was curious. “Get her away from that!” Aiden exclaimed taking the baby out of my arms and making her start crying and Sansa barking again thinking they were playing with her.

Madame Sand said coldly. “Is that what you really think?” Asana asked challengingly. “Why don’t you stop beating around the bush and tell me what you think? I’ve had enough of your nonsense for one day…” the older woman replied without hiding her irritation. “I think…that Salena is jealous of me because I’ll get to spend time with her precious Prince Darius. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that I am. That girl, she probably loves Prince Darius although she may not realize it yet herself,” Asana said before she smiled wisely.

Sansa, while being regarded by many as a ruthless Alpha, remained unafraid of me, which baffled and intrigued me. Sansa's perception of me was far from accurate. Even though we were destined for each other, I was the villain she detested the most. I, like everyone else, had a heart that desired love and a soul that desired to be cared for. Happiness was something I craved, an ideal shared by everyone, yet it seemed so far away.

I stated, my voice firm. Xavier's hold tightened, and his gaze fastened on mine with an intensity that sent shivers down my spine. "You can try to resist, Sansa," he said, his voice low and brushing against my ear, "but knows that resistance only fuels my desire."

I managed to drive the idea out of his head for a short while. Everyone moved on except me. Jacob gained popularity and great status among the pack and Sansa had already grown into a fine young lady and started dating Leondre Lavista even though our parents disapproved of the relationship until he left her in search of his true mate, my sister had an unhealthy obsession with him, she became depressed and later died. Father in anger thought it was the sign he was waiting for to challenge king Mike Lavista to death and it didn't end well for him.

Sane wasn’t really fond of reading the news as he barely had enough time with his duties in life, especially now that his attention was already taken by the utterly alluring girl, Seleen Y. De Castro, and he wasn’t even complaining! In fact, he even liked it. He liked giving her attention, and he also liked being given attention by her. How great it was to be loved by her, to receive all of her little kisses now and there, to see her life, to feel her against his skin, everything about her was addicting for Sane.
