THE NEXT DAY IN THE PARTY HALL "Congratulations, Sarah." Sarah closed her eyes tightly as soon as she heard the voices of the people who just wished her. Just what she didn't need at that moment. Today was the reception party of her marriage which is organised by Helena Watson, her step grandmother. She was completely against the party but yet again she didn't have any choice. As it was forced upon her once again. But she made sure that no media or business associates were invited. Just the so-called immediate family members.

Sara’s POV The day of the wedding dawned bright and clear, the air filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. The venue, a stunning garden adorned with blooming flowers and twinkling fairy lights, was a picture of elegance. Guests began to arrive, including Zack’s grandfather, Aaron, Mary, and several of Zack’s business associates. The paparazzi gathered outside, eager to capture every moment of the high-profile event. As I stood in the bridal suite, gazing at myself in the mirror, I felt a mix of nerves and excitement. My dress, a delicate lace creation, flowed around me like a dream. Let’s set a date for this wedding already. I picked June 15th. I’ve got caterers lined up.” I snapped, my voice low, sharp. “Sarah, did you even think to bring food? Water? Anything for the guy who just survived a fucking bomb?” She froze, her eyes narrowing, a smirk curling her lips. “Food? Hell no, Ethan. I don’t cook for men, especially ones who haven’t wifed me up yet. You want dinner, order takeout.”

Conrad said. “What's your plan now, Conrad? What will happen to us?” Sarah asked. “I have everything under control. Rest assured, you will have a grand wedding. The biggest in New York City. I will give you the life you deserve. I'll do anything to make you happy,” Conrad promised. Sarah rolled her eyes. She didn't actually have any place to go. She thought she would just stick around and use Conrad. Her goal was to get back to Jeremy now. She first had to confirm if he was really married to Leah. And even if he was, it didn't matter to Sarah.

“Wedding?” “Apparently he's been keeping secrets.” I open the envelope carefully, not wanting to damage whatever's inside. The invitation is simple, beautiful: “Alexander Morrison and Dr. Sarah request your presence at their wedding ceremony, Saturday, November fifteenth, Martha's Vineyard.” “Dr. Sarah?” Killian reads over my shoulder. “You don't know her?” “Alec doesn't usually share personal information.” “Professional habit, I guess.” My phone rings before we can discuss this further. It felt like everyone around us had caught the wedding bug, and many were eager to make their commitment official. I quickly informed Trey of our unexpected detour. Diane Morgan, marrying Mr Volkov? I never would've guessed." I smirked, shrugging nonchalantly. "Guess fate decided it for her. Who are we to question the universe's sense of humour?" We both chuckled at that, but Stacy's expression suddenly turned serious, her eyes widening. "Girl, you're not ready for this. The wedding is tomorrow." I blinked. "Tomorrow? Diane only signed the papers this morning. How could they be getting married tomorrow?"

Once that happened, the council got involved and decided that it was close enough to the summit and to go ahead and host it here, one week after the wedding. This pissed me off to no end. I just wanted to be able to relax with my soon to be wife and go on our honeymoon. Sarah was the one who was actually reasonable in this, she had said she didn’t mind postponing their honeymoon for a week. She said it just made their time all the more memorable. I still couldn’t believe that the most understanding and sexy woman and wolf was my fated mate.
