Say It Ain T So Blink-182 Novels & Stories

The burning from the sunlight hurt even more than the scalding heat inside the washing machine. I couldn't hold it in anymore and screamed, "Ouch! It hurts!" Even if it was agonizing, I still had to bring Maple back. "G-Ghost! There's a ghost!" For a moment, my body actually became visible. My twisted, terrifying face scared Billy the Bully so badly that he shoved Maple to the ground and ran off. At the same time, I could feel myself fading even more. My right arm had already disappeared completely. A feeling crept in—I was about to vanish.

The plaster on my right leg was gone, though my steps were still unsteady. "Leo Ashcroft isn't here, Mr. and Mrs. Ashcroft. My name's August Somerset," I said flatly. "Leo…" Malinda cried out as she reached out toward me. "Please come home with us, will you?" "I am home, and this is my mom," I said and tucked my arm into Joycelyn's. Smiling, I continued, "As for you, we're strangers." Bianca stepped out of the car at last. She couldn't even muster the courage to meet my eyes as she hoarsely said, "I'm sorry, Leo. I know that I've messed up, so will you please give me one more chance?"
