Marcus cast his eyes down as his shame covered him like a new winter’s coat. “ For now,Noah, please just trust me.” For a while after Noah left his room, Marcus stared up at the ceiling, feeling like the lowest form of life for lying to his best friend. How could he possibly explain to him that his dad and new girlfriend were being haunted by an ancient spirit, the same one who haunted his gran and her sister years before? “ Hello Marcus.” The voice which suddenly interrupted his thoughts, was melodious and familiar. Marcus looked to his side and by the light of the moon beaming through the window, he saw her.

Shrieks of torment echoed endlessly, their piercing cries clawing at his sanity. From the shadows emerged figures, their forms grotesque and malformed, their hollow eyes gazing at him with contempt and a sadistic hunger. Kayziel's blood ran cold despite the sweltering heat. His body trembled as the figures closed in and began to laugh. It was then he felt the warm liquid running down his legs. Trembling, he lowered his head, his eyes going wide at the sight of his soiled robes. He couldn't believe it. Was he that scared?

She would always try to run to him but before she could reach, he would completely vanish. She had screamed, hoping someone would hear her and rescue her, just like he always did. But the only things she hears are the echoes of her own screams. Then, she'd see the red-headed woman, Lupe. Standing faraway, her white dress soaked with blood. She would stare at her and smile, stretching out her hands to her, just before a weird creature would stab her right there and she would vanish, just like dust. It has been really scary, Amelia wouldn't lie. Maybe she's dead and didn't make it to heaven and ended up in hell, because this place is pure hell, filled with terrifying loud screams.

“I’m sorry, Liam. I don’t know how to sense them because I’ve never seen a ghoul before.” “Damn it,” Liam mutters under his breath, tightening his grip on my shoulder. “We need to get out of here. Fast.” Before I can even process what Liam is saying, the ghouls appear out of nowhere. Their ghostly figures seem to appear and disappear almost like a mirage, and their shrieking fills the air. Fear takes over me, especially when I hear a voice inside of my head say, ‘Purple-eyed wolf. I want to feast on your blood and take your powers!’

And adding to that creepy scenery was the dead people littered on the floor. She walked past them as she observed in fear. They were killed, perhaps slaughtered because blood was everywhere on the floor and around them. Some had lost their hands some legs if not both and some even heads. It was a disgusting and scary scene to be at. Sunni herself was creeped out. She couldn't quite tell what was going on because this seemed too real to be a dream! Was she perhaps in a horror world?! With fear, she Closed her eyes walking past them past the eyes closed and hoping to escape but then she heard cries and mourning. She flipped open her eyes in fright looking around but saw no one.

Soon, her heart couldn't take it anymore as she burst into tears until. ~CRUNCH ~CRUNCH Chills pass through her spine. A stream of blood raged in her veins. The sound of crushing leaves reverberated inside her ears like the epiphany of death song by a grim reaper. ~huff *please ~huff "please… ~sob... please…" She turned her head, but all she saw was a green lizard trampling over broken leaves. Years of her life span passed by the sudden jump scare. The menacing aura of the night kept tearing her sanity.

To my horror, his footsteps near and I quickly close my eyes not wanting to see anything else, but to my dismay, he grabs my arm dragging me out from under the table, his cheek is still a little red from my slap but his eyes are molten gold, fuelled by rage. “What the hell was that?” he snarls, “They’re Crawlers, creatures who are deadlier than you think, and you should get checked because it’s only going to get worse,” I say quietly, daring not to look down and hope neither does he. “I mean, what the hell did you fucking pull?!” he growls, yanking me closer and I shriek, feeling my breasts hit his chest and I think my tummy touched something. My heart pounds as an odd feeling rushes through

I crept over to the sounds, tiptoeing into a thin gap through which I could peek into a big hall. I heard a snarling grunt out of nowhere. Instantly, chills rushed down my spine, and every strand of hair on my body lifted. The grunt reminded me of the Lycans, or perhaps just cannibals like me? I couldn't find my way. To my horror, footsteps - Dryad footsteps - echoed from not far away. Once more, I glanced into the crack. I peered inside the crack and witnessed something incredible. My pupils dilated.

The campsite suddenly filled with a repugnant smell, like rotting flesh. Nathan leaped forward just as the creatures burst from the shadows. They were tall and bulky, twice the height of Nathan, with dangling arms, wide hands, thin bony fingers, vicious claws, and protruded fangs shining with poison. It was like seeing a vampire experience death over and over again, unwilling to die. I stared in horror, a blood lust and anger evident in their faces. I lost my balance, collapsing in panic. Everything became a bur. Junto was flung aside by one of the beast's pale hands. Then it dove after the Shape Shifter with jaws the size of a bear trap.
