Doubling over, AJ huffed out in anger. "Piss off," Scar spat, humour laced behind his words. Scar paused, however, when he caught sight of his little lady walking out of the club. With a large leather jacket in one hand and a small box in the other, Lani trotted forward meekly with her head down. His little one was self-conscious, he knew from just one look, and it made him inhale with anger at the Latina woman. Whistling loudly with two fingers in his mouth, Scar caught Lani's attention quickly. With a knowing nod of his head and a sneaky wink from AJ, Scar moved with his bike toward Lani, meeting her halfway.

She sprayed the red powder on Darryl’s body. At that moment, Darryl could smell a funny scent starting to spread. “What are you doing?” Darryl became worried as he furrowed his brows. “You scared?” Quincy kept the jade bottle as she grinned and her eyes full of contempt. “I sprayed something called the Stray Scent on your body. It’s a special herb from South Cloud World. Poisonous bugs love this herb. Imagine, there are so many mutated poisonous bugs around, how many would be attracted to come over?”

Nixx grabbed the blanket Ayla used during the night and put it in a sack before helping Ayla mount his horse. Scar urged his horse to run, and Nixx did the same. “What’s happening?” asked Ayla. “Why is Scar in such a hurry?” Nixx furrowed his brow. “I am not sure.
