Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

"Come on, I wanna know more about what goes on in that brilliant brain of yours." She wasn't only buttering me up but also flashing me her hopeful smile. And though giving in meant going through a self-inflicted cringe-fest, I couldn't say no. Doing so would've been like kicking a puppy. Her blue eyes were too bright, I didn't want to extinguish their sparkle. Groaning in defeat, I retrieved an external hard drive from my room. One that held my amateur films from my student days. A lot of my work had sci-fi elements, which was the genre I'd always been most interested in. Like a full-length movie set either far, far in the future or deep, deep in outer space..? Producing something like that

The Promise

The Promise

And I- 'That's so bitter Craig, not all people were the same.' The guy beside me stated with a cheeky smile flustered on his face. My palms instantly fisted at the sight of him. Yukii, stop that. 'Nahh, what for? I'm right anyway, it's not like everyone is the same right? Besides, there are two types of promises. The real and meant one and the real but must be broken one. Either way, promises were made because it's meant and intended to be done but against this world, breaking such thing is inevitable.'

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

Women in various stages of undress would cavort with Oscar the Obscene Octopus and milk an underwater bandaged model cow amid typewriter keys drifting like seaweed. Other unnerving displays inside included the topless Venus on her satin-draped bed covered with flowers and leaves, with rubber lobsters frying on beds mocked to look like hot coals and bottles of champagne surrounding her. Oddly-clothed mannequins posed in mentally challenging spaces were scattered about amid burning giraffes, melting watches, and in one area, a ceiling covered in suspended umbrellas and hung with bats and telephones gave Evelyn nightmares for several nights afterwards.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

You cannot punch a moon. Down in Hangar Bay 4, the alarms of the Prometheus screamed a steady, flat tone. "Target locked. Singularity stabilized at 120% capacity," the AI reported, its voice vibrating with a terrifying, synthetic eagerness. Scarlett stood on the hovering platform, her dark hair whipping wildly in the localized gravity storms generated by the Leviathan above. She didn't look at the screaming mortal cultivators. She didn't look at the sky. She looked entirely inward, merging her Golden Core with the cold, absolute logic of the Ark's firing sequence.

Mr.Billionaire's Obsession

Mr.Billionaire's Obsession

Sophie's POV The soft hum of advanced laboratory equipment provided a soothing backdrop as I stared at the neural scan results for the hundredth time. The holographic display bathed my private lab in an ethereal blue glow, highlighting patterns that shouldn't be possible – patterns that both thrilled and terrified me. "Display comparison sequence alpha-seven," I commanded softly, watching as the AI system overlaid multiple scan results. Each showed the same impossible phenomenon: neural pathways not just regenerating, but evolving. Creating connections that went beyond normal human capabilities.

The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

"But I'm not letting you fall. Not here. Not ever." The air between them felt thicker than the CO2-heavy atmosphere of the sub. It was a "Slow Burn" moment—the kind that makes a reader hold their breath. He finally turned back, his hand trailing down her arm until his fingers brushed her palm, a silent promise of protection before he continued into the dark. They emerged into a massive, sterile hall. The transition from ancient rock to "High-Sci-Fi" was jarring. The walls were lined with Cryogenic Stasis Pods (sealed glass chambers used to freeze people in a state of suspended animation, stopping time for their bodies).

Billionaire Twin Babies: Mommy, Papa Uncle Is the Best!

Billionaire Twin Babies: Mommy, Papa Uncle Is the Best!

Angelo raises his hands before the male teacher finish what he said, so hepless, he pointed at where Angelo is and instructed for the boy to stand up to answer the question. “The classic elements of a science fiction novel include: Time travel. Teleportation. Mind control, telepathy, and telekinesis, Aliens, extraterrestrial lifeforms, and mutants. Space travel and exploration. Interplanetary warfare. Parallel universes. Fictional worlds. That’s all” Angelo said his answer and didn't wait for the male teacher to give him permission to sit as he already sat down back again to his seat, the smell of gun powder a while ago that disappeared once again resurfaced on the air as Demetria looked at

The story is good overall if you real all the chaps. The story is not the same as the billionaire stories on goodnovel. The person upstairs or downstairs is very bitter to make a review like that, misleading people.

Choosing The Alpha King

Choosing The Alpha King

he offered, his voice deep and laden with an allure that sent shivers down my spine. I glanced at his identification; it labeled him as AI-Jack. I turned away from him, stepping out of the bar into the vibrant light of morning. Outside, the world was alive with activity—a road lined with an array of cafes, shopping centers, gardens, and parks. People, or rather, simulations of people, went about their daily routines. A screen materialized before me, offering a tantalizing choice: "You can choose any male and female from this whole place to interact and have sex, all Artificial Intelligence with diverse personalities and appearances. The Billionaire’s Bride

The Billionaire’s Bride

Both factions, though hesitant, reluctantly agreed. Their search led them to a hidden sanctuary nestled within the system's asteroid belt. Here, they found the Dreamweaver, an ethereal figure cloaked in shimmering robes, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Kairos, his telepathy reaching out, encountered a mind unlike any he had experienced. The Dreamweaver didn't possess typical thoughts, but a kaleidoscope of visions, a tapestry woven from fragments of the future. These visions, though fragmented and cryptic, depicted a devastating galactic war, one sparked by a seemingly insignificant event.
