MAD END'S DECEPTION

MAD END'S DECEPTION

“I will show you something.” The scenery shifted. Arah blinked against a sudden burst of light, and in an instant, she was transported to a time much closer to the present. Drusden glanced around, his eyes wide, flinching at the sounds of old cars and the clamor of a nearby construction site. “W-what is this place?” he asked with awe. “This is the future,” Zephyr said, his gaze sweeping over the bustling city. “Humans have come a long way with their technology, but they are still the same vile creatures—only now, they have learned to hide their depravity better over time.”

She Took the Rags, I Took the Empire

She Took the Rags, I Took the Empire

Snow poked his head out from the top of his new terrarium, his tiny crimson eyes darting around inquisitively, as if carefully surveying this pristine, magnificent new world. My phone vibrated once more in my palm. “See you tomorrow, Hill.” It was a collection of just a few brief words, yet a soft, uncontrollable smile tugged at the corners of my lips. What did the future hold for us? I couldn’t say for certain. But I knew with clarity that regardless of what came next, it would be a radiant, entirely unwritten future that belonged completely to me. (The End)

The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha

The Dominant Omega And Her Submissive Alpha

The old powers lurking in the edges of the world. The message was clear: The future belonged to the new blood. To those brave enough to dream beyond fear. To the children of the stars and the wolves. To us. And I would die and live, a thousand times over to protect that future.

as I down an oil-soaked fry. "I went to the future. I mean, like 2042 so not that far, and--" he spaces out. There's this blank look in his eyes. I can't place it, but somehow that honey color turns deep brown. He takes another bite of the horrendous burger, so this must be bad. "Wh-What?" "There was nothing. The land--i-it was empty." "Like what? Pollution, or--" "There were no people, no plants, just hollow buildings. I--"

“This was just the beginning. They’re escalating.” James clenched his fists. “We fight harder. We train more. We take the battle to them.” Clara stared at the empty pendant. For the first time since arriving in the future… she felt truly afraid. —END CHAPTER SEVEN—

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Because for the first time— they didn't know. There was no war. No mission. No prophecy. No prison. Only tomorrow. And that was somehow more frightening than any monster. Then Thomas smiled. Then: "I don't know." Silence. Then: "But I want to find out." The World Tree glowed. The stars shined. The wind moved gently through the restored world. And for the first time in ten thousand years— the future belonged to humanity again.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Her Worst Nightmare

Her Worst Nightmare

'No longer will we bicker and fight between ourselves,' Blake continued, 'No longer will we remain divided, while our enemy laughs at us. Hunts us like we are nothing but animals. No longer will we stay Earth-bound, cast out of our rightful home. No longer will we be the Fallen. Inside this book, the witch's words will unite us all at last.' He lowered the book, holding it flat in the palm of his hand, as his other caressed the cover. 'Inside this book,' he said, a giddy smile making him look younger than his many years, 'lies our future. At last, at last...'

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

And I was surprised to see Kuroyuki reading a book at her usual spot when I entered the classroom afterwards. I didn't want to interrupt her, so I sat next to her and read a book too. Compared to Kuroyuki, who's literally holding one, I read e-books (electronic books) instead. It's a research journal written by my father— a history about the of Darkness Element, also the founder of the . To be honest, this is the 14th time I've read this book. But still— the contents never ceased to amaze me.

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

Meilin screamed his name, lunging forward, but the golden barrier was absolute. "But first," Leo added, his voice echoing with a new, terrifying authority. "I want to see the 'End.' Show me the version of the world where I leave. Show me that they're happy." The Vision of the Void The central Architect waved a hand, and a final rift opened—a window into the future he was buying. Leo looked through. He expected to see the Techno-Forests blooming and the cities of the Mosaic-World thriving in peace. Instead, he saw Nothing.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Future is Now' is this wild, thought-provoking book that dives headfirst into how rapidly evolving technology is reshaping every aspect of our lives. It's not just another dry tech manifesto—it reads like a conversation with that one friend who's always three steps ahead, buzzing with ideas about AI, biohacking, and smart cities. The author stitches together personal anecdotes, interviews with innovators, and some seriously mind-bending predictions that'll make you pause mid-page to stare at your phone like, 'Wait, are you listening to me right now?'

What hooked me was how it balances optimism with gritty realism. One chapter might gush about CRISPR gene editing curing diseases, while the next unpacks the ethical nightmares of data monopolies. There's a whole section on 'post-work societies' that had me daydreaming for weeks—imagine universal basic income freeing people to pursue art or community projects instead of soul-crushing jobs. Though some concepts feel straight out of 'Black Mirror,' the book grounds them in current prototypes, like Japanese towns already testing robot caregivers. By the last page, I couldn't decide if I wanted to invest in neural implants or burn my Alexa—but that tension is exactly why it sticks with you long after reading.
