“Let me introduce to you a mermaid captured from the west coast of the continent!” After the host finished speaking, everyone stood up one after another, wanting a clearer look. They took off the cloth, and there was a mermaid curled up in a transparent glass case—quite similar in appearance to those mermaids in the movies. The mermaid was curled up into a ball, and no one could see her face clearly. A person standing on the side pressed a button. An electric current surged in the small glass case, and the mermaid inside rolled and howled in pain.

She paddled slowly on the thick fog and finally got out of the mist. Her eyes widened in surprised when she saw a glorious scenery in front of her. There were an enormous boulders on the side and some mermaids swimming happily in the distance. The scales on their half body sparkles as the light struck on it and the water really made their shiny scales stood out even more, giving it a lustrous gleam. There was also casual giggling sounds that felt like music to her ears. The mermaids seems to not noticed her paddling in their waters but she didn’t care regardless and just stared blatantly at the beautiful sirens.
