The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

"The 'Holding' protocol has expired. Repossessing raw materials." "Raw materials?" I yelled, the Red Blood surging back to life. I felt the violet spark Silas had left in me ignite, creating a strange, swirling energy that felt like a storm in my veins. "We aren't materials! We’re the ones who survived your 'Graveyard'!" The Null turned its green lens toward me. "Subject 01-A. Identified as: **High-Value Bio-Mass**. Synthesis of Red Blood detected. Recovery of the 'Prime Frequency' is mandatory."

He was trembling and on the verge of getting panic attack. Stopping the black Porsche just an inch away from him the driver gets out of the vehicle as if in a trance. "Come back to Tehran." He snarled on the face of Victor, his face purely white with an ugly black scar right on the middle of his forehead. He went to the switch board fixed to one of the pillars in the parking lot and put his finger into the socket. His body shook with passing electricity surprising Victor and he died on the spot.

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

UNDER THE DON’S PROTECTION

Servers hummed low, blue light pulsing from behind blast doors. The core chamber was smaller than Berlin’s compact, vicious. A single console glowed: “Swarm 2.0 – Failsafe Node. Heir authentication required.” I stepped forward. Retinal scan flared painful blue sweeping my face. “Scan confirmed. Luca Volkov Marino. Primary heir. Swarm 2.0 online. Global dormant network awaiting activation command.” Dante leaned against the wall, breathing hard. Rocco stood at my shoulder, hand on my lower back.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

Status: Active. Subject B (The Mind): Olivia [Redacted]. Status: Active. Subject C (The Shadow): [DATA CORRUPTED]. Status: ESCAPED. "Subject C?" Jack whispered. "There was a third one?" Catherine looked at the screen, her face pale. "Escaped? When?" The log scrolled to the bottom. Location of Subject C: Unknown. Warning: Subject C carries the instability marker. Do not engage. Jack tried to stand up, but his legs failed him. The victory of restarting the power felt hollow. They had just turned the lights on, only to reveal that there was another monster in the room with them. Or rather, out there in the dark.

Lucian's Undoing

Lucian's Undoing

CHAPTER 56 The Hall of Ascendancy, once a sanctuary of harmony, now roared with divine fury. Samael’s voice cracked like thunder against the golden walls. “Who put Tzareth in that bulb?” The young scribe, barely out of his initiation rites, stood trembling beneath the weight of a thousand eyes. His robes, once pristine, clung to him in sweat-damp folds as he stammered, “I-I don’t know, Elder Samael. The records— They say it was sealed in Vault Four—”

Alpha Xavier

Alpha Xavier

Hunter handed me a tablet, a map of the pack borders, blinking red where the breach had been. “He didn’t get through alone,” Hunter muttered. “Whoever helped him in knew the blind spots. Valerie’s office is a boarder ground, which normally has rogues walking in and out, but this… he didn’t even use the front door. The man used the fire escape to get in and out. Unseen and undetected. Someone must have dismantled the cameras.” I clenched the tablet until the plastic creaked. “So we’re looking at someone with internal access,” I said. “And that someone is one who has eyes around Valerie.”

The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

It was glowing again, a frantic, warning violet. "It's a Divergent," David Vance said from his bunk, his voice filled with a new kind of terror. "An Architect that has been partially consumed by the Void. It’s a Biological Parasite now. It doesn't want the Key. It wants a host." The scratching sound moved to the hatch. The heavy steel wheel began to turn, the internal Pressure Seals (the rubber gaskets that keep water out) hissing as they were forced open from the outside. "It’s opening the door," Kazimir snarled. He shoved Elara behind him, his body becoming a literal shield between her and the hatch. "Mina, get the power back on! Now!"

she closed the door behind her and dropped the tray on his desk. The office was such a mess; he had paper works everywhere on his table and even on the floor. “what have you been doing in here, everything looks so….sad” Harley said as her eyes wandered around the office like it wasn’t even something good to look at “I have been trying to see if I could find a way to…save the remaining people at Haynes technologies and maybe find the first alpha Grey created which is Experiment 25…. Roman St Laurent” he handed Roman’s file to her which she collected hastily.

Matthew replied, "Every information network in the facility can only be accessed by local channels here!" They finally reached a section of pods with a Label Y. They both looked up and saw the subject Y-23T2 still unconscious within. The same dark skin human-looking fiend who caused major chaos some days ago, laying on the other side of the barrier. Matthew dabbed on his watch. Several panels of information manifested in front of him, all with Yaksha's information on it. He also clicked on the button beside the pod until a woman's figure manifested in front of them. Her features and movement were too mechanical to be a human's.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

The creature didn't scream; it hissed, its orange core flaring as it tried to stabilize. "That’s for Phuwin, you glowing bastard!" Somito roared, bringing the mace down again and again until the orange light flickered and died, leaving only a pile of cooling, amber slush on the floor. "You really need to work on your stealth, old man," Zilo said, rushing to the terminal and his fingers flying across the keys. "Okay, I’ve got the bypass. Cell 402. Restricted access. It says... 'Subject: Pilot. Status: Integration Complete.'"
