THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

"Then let me through the wall!" June grabbed the Assistants tie. She didn't use strength. She used her hunger. She began to pull his light into her silver eyes. "Wait! Wait!" the Assistant screamed. "The password isn't a word! It's a memory! It's the thing the Architect forgot!" He pressed a key on his keyboard. A small door opened in the center of the Assistants chest. Inside was a dusty photograph. June snatched it. It was a picture of a woman. She wasn't a computer program. She was holding a baby in a hospital. On the back it said: Property of Gregory University Medical Research—Project: Human Soul.

Matthew replied, "Every information network in the facility can only be accessed by local channels here!" They finally reached a section of pods with a Label Y. They both looked up and saw the subject Y-23T2 still unconscious within. The same dark skin human-looking fiend who caused major chaos some days ago, laying on the other side of the barrier. Matthew dabbed on his watch. Several panels of information manifested in front of him, all with Yaksha's information on it. He also clicked on the button beside the pod until a woman's figure manifested in front of them. Her features and movement were too mechanical to be a human's.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

Chasing The billionaire's Shadow

Chasing The billionaire's Shadow

“Scarlett’s proxies aren’t just programs—they’ve hijacked agencies, assets. Digital and flesh.” “Which means she’s not dead,” Liam said, jaw clenched. “She’s not alive either,” Tamar added from across the room. “We’re dealing with a consciousness embedded in code. A synthetic shadow of her mind.” Richter stepped forward, grim as ever. “We need to strike before she stabilizes.” I looked up. “How?” He tapped the map projected on the center table. “A fragment of her was traced to the Zenith Vault in Zurich. If she consolidates her presence there, she can rebuild physically.”

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

"They're collectors of suffering." "Intruder detection: Subject 001-Alpha," the ship's overhead speakers intoned, the voice stripped of all human emotion. "Security Protocol: Neutralize. Disposal in progress." From the ceiling, hundreds of "Sentinel Drones"—sleek, multi-limbed machines armed with disintegrator beams—descended like chrome spiders. "Disposal?" Caleb let out a dark, jagged laugh. The silver tattoos on his arms flared with a brilliance that turned the hallway into a hall of mirrors. "I've been waiting three thousand years to show you how a 'failed experiment' cleans its cage."

Then— She saw it. A flash. A door. Faintly stamped near the biometric panel: Level VI. Her eyes widened. “It was… it was the door right after the failed test. When the doctor came running in screaming, ‘It worked!’—the scream came right before that. I remember now... the door had Level VI printed on it, clear as day.” Charles shot up from his seat. “Then that’s where they’re keeping the real project. Not the demo floor with the animals, not the staged trials. Level VI holds the key.”

THE PRICE FOR HIS NAME

THE PRICE FOR HIS NAME

She didn’t flinch—just spoke flatly. “Samuel. Don’t hover.” “Not hovering,” he muttered, spinning a screwdriver between his fingers. “Just... observing the sorceress at work.” Miriam rolled her eyes, pushing up her glasses. “You’re making the air tense.” He smirked faintly but stayed anyway. She found the file she was looking for. Timestamp: 9:47 p.m. Hallway 6A. Right at the entrance to House Six’s dorms. She slowed the footage. The grainy black-and-white flickered across her screen. David Huntsman, Adonis, and several of their lackeys moved with military-like coordination—silent, focused.

The stillness before an unseen storm. “This place gives me the creeps,” Lucien muttered from the front, fingers twitching over his tablet. “Signal interference is unnatural. Even EMP scramblers don’t block this much.” “They’re jamming it from the inside,” Kira said. “Whatever’s in there, they don’t want anyone getting out.” Tariq checked his explosives pack. “Or maybe they’re keeping something in.” The crawler came to a halt at the edge of a rocky plateau, where a steel hatch lay buried in ice and stone—barely visible beneath decades of frost. The entrance to Site 6.

“Trying to control something that doesn’t want to be controlled.” Adrian stared at him for a long moment. “That makes two of you.” That night, Evelyn couldn’t sleep. The mark pulsed too steadily, like a metronome counting toward something inevitable. She opened the folder again, tracing the name R. Draven with her finger. Below it, a half-faded note: Subject exhibited secondary resonance. Suggest containment before phase two. Her phone buzzed. Unknown Number: Containment failed before. It will again. Her fingers tightened. Who are you? she typed.

Man, SCP-628 is one of those entries that makes you double-check your locks at night. Officially dubbed 'The Living Temple,' it's a massive, sentient structure made of fused human bodies and architectural debris. The worst part? It lures people inside with whispers and visions, then assimilates them into its ever-growing form. I read a tale where an entire exploration team got absorbed—their last transmissions were just garbled screams and wet cracking sounds.

What freaks me out isn’t just its hunger, but how it *evolves*. Some reports suggest it’s developing intelligence, maybe even learning to mimic voices perfectly. Imagine hearing your mom call for help from inside its walls… yeah, no thanks. I’ll stick to cute anomalies like SCP-999.
