THE CEO'S STOLEN SECONDS

THE CEO'S STOLEN SECONDS

A rhythm could be masked by another sound if the volume was perfectly synchronized. "The radio " I gasped, my voice rising above the roar of the drones engine. "The radio transmitter from the boat... David’s mirror is still open in the pipeline! If we can broadcast a localized audio signal through the van’s short-wave antenna... We can mimic the interval of Leos valve! We can fool the network into thinking the ledger is still in New York while we move him!" "A phase-inversion loop!" Julian yelled. He grabbed his data-pad. Slammed it into the van’s central communications block.

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

"They do not know it was me. I lost them in the river." I looked at his leg. It was a deep cut but it was not poisoned. It would heal. "Leo," I called out. "It is safe. Come out." Leo crawled out. He ran to get a blanket for Kael. I took the radio. It was crackling with static. "Does it work?" I asked. "It should," Kael said. "Channel four." I turned the dial. I tuned it to the emergency frequency. Static. More static. Then a voice cut through.

The Billionaire's surrogate secret

The Billionaire's surrogate secret

"Canopy release in five seconds!" Julian’s voice cracked violently through the radio, competing with the thunderous roar of the wind shearing past their helmets. "Deploy on my mark... Three... Two... One... Mark!" Lyra yanked the primary rip-cord across her chest.

Echoes from Below

Echoes from Below

However, at that moment, I merely whistled into the phone. It was a special frequency, mimicking the Predator's Song, but more inconspicuous and deathly. He was suddenly silent. Then, he screamed, "Water? Why is there water?! Help! My lungs!" He gurgled as he hung up. I placed my phone down and adjusted my blouse. Since I had taken over the Echoes from Below radio application, I was going to manage it properly. I had to change the first rule. [This station's signal may extend into reality. If you see a monster in real life, please firmly believe that it's your neighbor.]

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

"Who is introducing 'Dead Air' into the stream? This is a 'Premium Event'! We cannot have narrative lag!" Maya, the former intern, stepped forward from the shadows of the South Wing. Her robe of "Pure Starlight" was flickering, her hazel eyes bright with a terminal resolve. She wasn't holding a tablet; she was holding a "Narrative Scalpel"—a tool used by the Architects to trim the fat from the scripts.

SEVER ZERO

SEVER ZERO

Instead, she was writing a Spoofing Script. She programmed the Server Blade to broadcast a massive, chaotic wave of garbage data on the exact frequencies used by the Blackwatch targeting lasers. She was creating a digital smoke screen. Thousands of "ghost targets" would suddenly appear on the bombers' radar, making it impossible for their computers to lock onto the Scrapyard. SCRIPT COMPILING... ESTIMATED TIME TO EXECUTION: 8 MINUTES. She looked at her watch. 11:25. She was going to cut it incredibly close.

A while later, she heard footsteps, and Fred appeared, looking inside. He asked Rhea, “Aren’t you anxious being the only one left?” She shook her head and said, “I know you must’ve left me here for a reason.” Fred nodded. "Good." Then, he placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a document, saying, “Take a look.” Puzzled, Rhea glanced at him and was surprised when she opened it. It contained detailed steps of the R10 experiment, providing precise information on how to start, the dosage, the injection method, the surgical procedure, and others.

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

Going Off-Script

Going Off-Script

I cut a slice of the strawberry cake while Arabella went on and on about the blueprint for the future. Out of nowhere, a long-absent voice boomed in my head. “It’s been a while, Player.” Arabella caught my split-second hesitation. “What’s wrong?” “Nothing. Something just came to mind. You should mingle with the guests. I’ll be there in a bit.” Once she was far, I answered in my mind, “System? Why are you back?” “I came to say goodbye.” The System’s voice sounded a lot more grounded than before. “Headquarters adopted your suggestion, and we are running a comprehensive upgrade. The assigned targets are no longer limited to main characters in future missions. Players will be free to make their

My Alpha is a Lunatic

My Alpha is a Lunatic

Every instinct screamed. NPC. This was an NPC. But the script had been shredded. This was something else. “Kiera?” The head tilted, a grotesque parody of curiosity. The voice held a smile that didn’t reach those dead eyes. “Are you scared? Don’t be scared. I found the most amazing thing back there. The signal here is terrible, my stream keeps dropping. Come with me. We have to document this. For the channel.” She reached out a hand. Her fingers were too long. The nails were dark, sharp slivers in the gloom.

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

Julian fell, and Maya caught him. "I’ve got you," she whispered. "Maya," Julian gasped. "The script—we need it. The clock’s almost at twelve." They raced to a wooden desk at the end of the river of blue ink. On it sat a single piece of yellow paper. Maya reached for it, but the crowned man stopped her. "You can’t change the beginning, Maya," he said. "The script says you die. That was the Author’s first line: 'The Doctor dies so the Soul can live.' It ends in tragedy."
