But before he could move, the radio screeched—and a burst of white light filled the cabin, forcing them both to shield their eyes.
When the light faded, the radio wasn’t on the table anymore.
It was floating in midair.
Sienna stared, her breath catching. The golden shimmer from her skin had leapt to it—tiny arcs of electricity dancing across the metal.
“Jax…” she whispered. “It’s me. It’s reacting to me.”
“Turn it off,” he said sharply. “Whatever it’s doing—stop it!”
“I’m not doing anything!” she cried, backing away. But the glow only intensified. The radio began to speak again, the voice distorted, layered with static.
