Second Chance Luna Novels & Stories

It didn’t get nearly as much attention as this one, and I’d love to see it get enough reviews to show a rating on the info page. I have 2 more books planned for this series, but I’m also starting a new job that might take some extra time to learn and get in the swig of things. I’m going to try and write ahead a little before I begin publishing so that you guys never miss an update because of my crazy schedule. The betrayal fueled Luna's will to tackle this challenge. "Anna, why are you doing this?" Luna's voice was tinged with pain and resolve. Anna's face stiffened, and her voice became harsh. "Do you believe you can just walk in and save the day?" You have no clue how much I've gone through. You don't deserve to be forgiven." Luna's eyes sharpened her voice firm. "Everyone deserves a second chance, Anna. We can assist you in retracing your steps. But right now, you're in our way, and we're not going to let anything stop us."

Alpha Kane begged. Luna Cynthia had decided not to forgive him but after hearing him saying that he was going to do better, she decided to give him a second chance. After all, we all deserve a second chance. Don't we? "So what do you say?" Alpha Kane asked after Luna Cynthia was silent for a couple of minutes. "I forgive you. " Luna Cynthia said while smiling a little. Alpha Kane could not believe that he had been given a second chance. He was so excited. He hugged her once again as he ran his fingers over her hair.

"But it can't be good." Luna sat in her favourite chair with a glass of wine in her hand. Everything was going perfectly. It's better than she had planned. "Twenty-five years," she said to herself. "Twenty-five years of waiting, and now it's finally happening." She laughed again, thinking about Austin. He was probably crying over his dead wife right now. He had no idea that she was alive and locked in her house. "Marcus, you stupid fool," she said to the empty room. "You thought you could banish me and forget about me. But I told you I would be back."

“Good. Let’s keep it that way until we’re ready.” The line went dead, and Detective Roberts settled back in her seat to continue her surveillance. In a few days, Luna Vaughn’s carefully constructed new life would come crashing down around her. But not tonight. Tonight, she could still believe in fairy tales and second chances. ––––––––––––

Just as I’m about to say something, argue that I wasn’t that good of a girl, Laura comes back into the room, this time with a line of crew members and cameras behind her. She grins at us once we’re looking back at her, clapping her hands. “Alright guys, who’s ready to film Luna’s choice?!”

I picked up the cup of tea and took a sip. It burned my tongue, but I welcomed the pain. It gave me something to focus on besides the helplessness I was feeling. “I’m not giving up,” I said quietly. “Not yet. Liam asked me not to, so I won’t until he’s…” I couldn’t bring myself to say that word: gone. Later that day, an announcement came about the next stage of the Luna Trial. It was the second to last event of the trial: a team game of capture the flag. The remaining contestants gathered in the banquet hall to hear the announcement. Anya and I were the only two Omegas remaining.

There was a desire that hadn't surfaced for a long time gushing in my veins. It’s a pity that I missed it like this. What a pity indeed! I originally thought that this would be an eternity. Everything had finally fallen into place, and soon, everything would be fully complete once Lucian and Killian Nox faced their death in a few minutes.
