“This is the third tree.” Wolves stared. “What is it?” Dara asked. “The Both Tree,” Suri said. “Not white. Not pink. Both. Growing together.” She planted it in the center. Watered it with her blood and Dara’s and the pup’s. For a day, nothing happened. On day 2, the tree grew 3 feet. On day 3, 10 feet. On day 4, its branches covered the Circle. And where its shade fell, something strange happened.

"This tree is you, Adira." I turned around completely, the tarp making a noise under my feet. "What? How?" His gaze weakened me. My resolve crumbled around me as he hummed deep in his chest. Sprinting to her saving grace, Ava had a smile plastered on her face as hope resided in her. When she reached the gates, she was relieved it was the park and she wasn't mistaken. Spotting the large tree at the edge of the park, Ava fought against the rain and wind and walked towards the it. She remembered all the times Lucas and her would hide at the tree for shelter if it rained and they couldn't get home yet. It didn't work that much but at least it was better than being out in the open.

in a split of second I saw myself in a strange place, under a huge tree. The tree was very huge and beautiful, with shiny leaves on it branches. And when I try to go close, I felt a secure barrier surrounded it preventing me to go any further close to the tree. it won't let me in even when I try harder, "why won't you let me in?" I said as I lift my hands to it, there was a rush of winds which made me blink my eyes and that moment I opened them, the beautiful tree in my eyes, had turned into a dry carcass, it had no leaves on and it branches had different huge cracks on it, there was no signs of life on it.

“But today… Today went beyond my imagination.” Applause and sniffles followed. Cameras flashed. A thousand memories took shape. As the sun began to dip behind the trees, painting the sky in soft hues of lavender and gold, Amaliah stepped outside for a breath of air. The wind was gentle, almost reverent, as if even the world had paused to honor the day. She rubbed her belly in slow circles, her thoughts swirling somewhere between gratitude and disbelief. Footsteps padded behind her. “Should’ve known I’d find you out here,” Caesar said gently.

It wasn’t the end of their story—but the beginning of a forever filled with happiness. As the years passed, Taylor, Charlie, and their kids faced challenges.
