The Alpha's Freakshow
I walk over to my minibar and pour myself a whiskey, grabbing one for Billy and walking back over handing it to him.
“Anything you want to tell me?” Billy asks, raising his brow.
Billy knows me better than anyone. He can sense my mood shifts from a mile away and I knew he could tell that something is up with me. But I’m not ready to reveal to him what I refuse to admit to myself. I clear my throat and look at him.
“No, just getting anxious about the blue moon.”
“We will figure something out,” Billy says, frowning.
“I always escape. I don’t know how, but I do. Nothing we have done has worked. I can’t keep doing this.”
