Reaching out my hand, I tried to manifest Elise when the serpent began to shake its body, causing large ripples and waves to tower over me. I looked at the upcoming waves as it was about to devour me hungrily.

Eston yelled as he had finished his enchantment. From the serpent’s view, the surrounding around it was colored in the monotone black and gray hues. It couldn’t see much except the figure and shape of the humans, allowing him to detect them more with their scents rather than their appearance. But all of a sudden, the serpent could only see one whole figure of a human that was hugging a round object. The serpent glared at the human, wondering why it was feeling such a sense of terror only to shriek when it notice what Mona was hiding was a serpent’s egg!

Neptune announced that they were arriving and they all gathered on the beach about twenty minutes later, They saw them swimming with great speed to their shores. King Abatrose and his companions emerged from the ocean with majestic grace, their regal presence gained the attention of everyone on shore. Abatrose wore his crown, adorned with glittering gems that seemed to hold the enchantments of the ocean's depths. In his hand, he held his trident, its prongs shimmering with a soft, ethereal light, reminiscent of Neptune's mighty weapon.

I said in a slow voice trying to charm the serpent, but it seemed like the reptile became furious with my attempts to enchant him, the serpent hissed angrily and even attempted to strike me twice but I managed to move out of the serpents line of attack, but the serpent third attempt almost hit my child in the basket, just a whisker away from the baby’s leg, this made my baby cry out and drawing attention towards us, but the serpent won’t just go away, it curls 360 degrees to face his preys once again but this time he bolsters his body sucking more poison to his head as he prepared to land his final fatal blow “ardeat in cinerem, creatura tenebrarum” I said with an intense look on my face, cu
