I pointed at this tiny intersection point in Sector Eight that looked totally worthless. "Let Cain win the primary area. Let him drive the price up as high as he wants until he's drunk on beating Vorreth. But here's the thing. The land in Sector Seven is basically poison. I wouldn't notice someone else's presence usually but his was different that I couldn't help but snap my neck to him and when I did, I gasped. He was handsome, I'd give him that and he already had his eyes on me. He gave me a small smile and then stretched out his hand. “I'm Seven.” he said, and I looked at him awkwardly before taking his hand and shaking it. Who names their kid, Seven? I thought but I must have said it out loud because he chuckled and rubbed his thumb on the back of my palm slowly with a twinkle in his eyes. “I guess my parents thought itd be unique to name me the same name as the date of my birth.”
