I walked out of the room, leaving the ranks shocked. That had been my plan all along; to instill fear. I wanted to eliminate the mentality that they had about finding comfort in crowds. Immediately the doors closed, I started hyperventilating. I had never killed anyone in my entire life. I tried my best to keep my breath steady as I climbed up the stairs to my room. When the door closed behind me, I took off my coat and then unbuttoned my shirt. Suddenly, I felt suffocated.

I could see it was shaking, but he did it anyway. “My name is David. I’m the funeral director here. They told me that you would wake up and I was to let you know when dark fell. The man that I believed, I loved. He had been dead for years. Not hidden. Not erased. Just gone, peacefully, stubbornly, still.

A prophecy that foretold the gruesome conspiracy to end the life of the greatest king of the earth. The passenger door suddenly flung open and a somber voice said, "Get in." Yeah! Like I would believe a kind-hearted stalker would give me a ride home. As I bent over to give him the rudest comment I could think of, I jumped. Because I knew the driver. I dared to say my history with him went way back and it only seemed to ignite a fire within me. Well, the reason was quite simple. I wondered why Mr. Nikolas was stalking me.
